Fairfield by Marriott Agra

This was my favorite hotel during my trip to India. The breakfast buffet is worth the money. Very good selection of western and Indian foods. They also had a station where chefs prepared fresh masala dosa and omelets. The hotel room was very clean, spacious, and the hotel staff cleaned it well every day. The hotel is located away from the Taj Mahal so that is something to consider if you’re only coming in to see the one attraction. I originally booked this hotel because I saw that it was connected to a mall so I was running under the assumption that it was going to be similar to American malls and we would have a place to kill time in the evenings if we wanted. That was not the case but that didn’t end up being a big deal. By the end of the day, we were exhausted and didn’t leave the hotel unless we were looking for dinner. There were tons of options within walking distance, including Domino’s and McDonalds if you need to fulfill a junk food craving. Side note, I don't think it's worth paying for a Taj Mahal view room because from the elevator, you can get a glimpse. As you can see, it's pretty far back so I don't think it's worth it.

Our room was spotlessly clean. It is spacious for two but a bit cramped for three after adding an extra bed. We had very good quality sleep. The staff agreed to let us check out one hour late allowing us to have a good shower after visitting the Taj in the morning before catching the train, and this is very much appreciated. They provided complimentary fruits and water. The staff at the lobby and room service are friendly and nice. It is near a mall so can get grocery items and Mc Donald's easily. We only stayed for one night so did not try the hotel food. They don't have a swimming pool. The Kiskey Whiskey restaurant/bar nearby is very worth going, their Indian and Italian foods are superb and priced reasonably, but people mainly go for their drinks (on the pricey side). We have a very positive experience staying in Fairfield by Marriott Agra.

The location is near the mall but still a calm environment inside the room. It was a great place to stay and the food was also tasty. In the menu the options with non veg are limited but still the food is tasty, the morning buffet is also tasty and is freshly prepared.

This hotel simply demonstrates that you don't need to empty your wallet to have a wonderful experience at the Taj Mahal. If your purpose of visiting Agra is to see the Taj Mahal, then go by my advice, and instead of doing a day trip or reaching the monument by afternoon, book this hotel and be there at the monument at 6 am in the morning. You will be free by 9 am, and then you can have your breakfast at the hotel. Now you must be thinking that you can do all of the above from any hotel in Agra. The location of this hotel has an important role. This hotel is not at walking distance from the Taj Mahal, but the drive is super smooth till the West Gate parking lot of the Taj Mahal. In addition to the benefits above, you can also book a Taj view room. The monument looks small from the distance, but there is a clear view that keeps you excited throughout the night about your visit the next morning, and it's always better to see the Taj Mahal than to see some random buildings. Lastly, when you return home within no time you are on express way to New Delhi.

Every dish was prepared with precision, fresh ingredients, and artistic presentation. From breakfast to dinner, each meal was a masterpiece, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors. Beyond the food, Chef Yogesh personally ensured that every guest had an unforgettable experience. His hospitality was remarkable—he took the time to interact with diners, explain the inspiration behind the dishes, and even customize meals based on preferences. It’s rare to find a chef so passionate about both cooking and guest satisfaction.

It is an excellent hotel staff is very friendly and hotel facilities are excellent. Food is a bit expensive. You must visit the property. Buffet breakfast is really great. Also very clean. You can see the Taj from the restaurant. Hotel is next to the me mall.

Nice, clean and friendly place. Well situated. Special thanks to the friendly staff at the dinner and breakfast buffe. They did their werry best to fulfil our wishes. A nice and relaxing stay after wisiting the stunning and famous Taj Mahal.
