Fairfield by Marriott Agra

A gorgeous hotel. Nice feel and good vibes all round, rooms are nice and spacious, and the bathrooms are really nice and everything feels clean and light. Good amenities provided like slippers and lots in the bathrooms too. ||Breakfast is very good, lots of choice, all tasty, foreigner friendly as there is lots of choice beyond just Indian, and all staff so nice and helpful and will go out of their way to help you. ||Amazing location near a mall and lots of shops, felt safe because there are so many stores around and staff are at the door on entry. ||Would highly recommend this hotel, I wish we had more than one night here!

I travelled last month with my daughter and elderly father and had an indelible experience. We had a great stay and also had a glimpse of the Taj from our room. The day we reached my daughter was poorly but Monika in FO and the concierge team helped me get the medication for my daughter. The entire staff were amazing. Rohit, Ram Kumar and Shiv Sharma in HK are incredible. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast buffet. Kudos to the entire F&B team, especially Sujeet, Yatendra and Masoom. Last but not the least, Chef Manveer Singh and his breakfast Chef made it extra special with their service. My heartfelt best wishes to them as I have been a Chef before.||Thank you so much.

The hotel was conveniently located in Agra. The amenities were out of this world, such as the indoor fitness area. It was equipped with treadmills to run on, and weights to work out with. The rooms were large and roomy. I also loved the breakfast. The staff was helpful as my friend lost his luggage and they worked with him to reunite his baggage. Very good experience!

My experience in this hotel was not great. First let me write about the pros. The food is delicious. My compliments to the chef. The room was good too and the valet service people were very courteous.||||The issues however were plenty. For eg. only one hand towel was given in the room when the occupancy was two. When we called housekeeping and enquired why there is one, we were told extra hand towels are given on request only!!! Isnt it pathetic? Two guests - one hand towel and for the other we have to call???||||The restuarant service levels are really bad. There are plenty of waiters but no one attends to you. One has to always look around for people even when it is not running to full capacity. We were served juices in plastic cups!!! Seriously? In a Marriot property for which we have paid so much?? The table had paper napkins during the breakfast - one each only. I was so surprised. A property like Marriot has such service levels that they cant even give towel napkins.||||I gave the feedback to the restaurant manager. He said he was new and agreed on the lapses. I told the same too in the reception who said he will escalate the same. ||||None of this matters as my experience was not great despite spending so much for for 3 nights and getting such service.||||I could have chosen many other properties in Agra. What was the point of patronising Marriot?

It's a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. The rooms r very compact. The restroom is very small and compact. The food is really good. There is buffet in morning and at night. Has a small fitness center.. NO Swimming pool.

Pros: The breakfast buffet is excellent! The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The facility is well kept. Cons: The surrounding neighbourhood around the hotel is not the best. The staff have a tendency to rush into the elevator, not giving you the chance to exit. Overall, would definitely recommend it.

The ambience was good. Rooms are spacious and neatly presented. The fact that reception and check-in are in the fourth floor, could be prominently displayed at the ground level. We experienced a delay in check-in process which could be avoided. The spread at the breakfast counter was good. Overall a pleasant stay.

Worst Experience with any of the hotel chain across India. Problem started with check in. We selected monsoon package rate in which room upgrade was included subject to Availability, rooms where available but front desk agent was pushing to pay for an upgrade. Eventually she upgraded the room cat. Dinner and breakfast was included in our room package, and the Front Desk Agent was unaware of it and asking about dinner and breakfast plans. Also 15% discount was offered by her but our package was stating discount of 20% to which she first said that is a glitch of the Marriott App.||||Surprisingly no beer was available other than Kingfisher Premium. I wished to speak to F&B Manager but as per the bar staff, hotel don’t have any management. ||||Ordered pasta from In room dining, it was below average upon complaint, it was replaced with good pasta. Room was on double occupancy, still Amenities where places as per single guest, surprisingly only one coffee mug and dental kit was placed.||||As per the package, dinner was included but the quality and taste was pathetic. Was hardly able to fill stomach with that food. ||||Breakfast was good and special shoutout to Ms. Divya and Chef Yogesh for able to understand and fulfill guest needs.||||Coming to checkout, Marriott App showed us 3PM checkout time with our package but the same was denied by the Front Desk Agent and we were asked to checkout at 1 PM last.||||Worst and pathetic Experience
