Bidesh Ghar Inn

I am writing this review at the month end of October(weather is cool and comfortable in this costal city) so we have rented a non AC room at the rate ₹1000 per day this is the rate after reduction of ₹300 their initial asking rate was ₹1300 per day. Their are nearby hotels and lodges where the rate for non ac rooms are much lower than this but we settled here for accommodation because the hotel has lift facility essential when travelling with elderly people if room allotted are in higher floors and they provide electricity during powercuts with their backup generators and there is room cleaning service (floor wiping only) once a day during late morning hours.

Overall good experience , clean room , bathroom clean , cooperative staff members , Ac's are working well and the view from the hotels is good

In this hotel on 2nd floor, room no 208 in this room there are some un natural things are happening from many year but no one is bother about this , recently one of my family members went there & they are felt helpless during night & they are shifted to another hotel because of unnatural incidents & from hotel management they told if you want to leave you can buy no step taken by them , they know all about this incidents what happening from many years but they are still providing this room to the guest such a shameless people. So beware of this hotel , specially 2nd floor room no 208.

This is the dirtiest hotel and restaurant in Puri. We had the worst experience; there was hair in the food, and the entire restaurant is always dirty.

I got a lot of negative vibes right after entering this hotel. It's a very scary and depressing place to say the least.(208,209)

Location is pretty clumsy And so are the rooms. At ₹2800-3000 Per room what they provided is shameful. A 200 sqft room with a bed, dirty towels, stained bedsheets, damp rooms and no ac. No service as such. The biggest issue is with payments. They don’t accept any form of cards. Only cash or UPI. The staff attitude is stay or get lost. I had been following up for a car for local Sightseeing since i booked here and the manager Ruben assured me it will not be an issue. That indeed became an issue and luckily i had a backup contact else the trip Would Have been ruined. Dont trust on their false Promises.
