Hotel P.P. Palace

Located in the dirtiest part of the street. Incompetent staff. Didn't even clean the bathroom before giving the room. No hot water. Didn't even put a blanket in the room. Disaster of an experience. Advice everyone to find some other place and Do not consider this a hotel. It's a guest house at worse.

Hotel P.P. Palace is quite near to the deity's temple, yet there there are many reasons why you would not want to consider this place for your stay: 1. The hotel gates are closed by 10:30PM and the residing guests will not be allowed inside the gate (locked) if this timeline is exceeded! 2. There is no 2/4 wheeler parking available within the hotel premise. 3. The main purpose of the maximum guests visiting Puri is to seek Lord Jagannath's blessing and devotees may usually think of starting as early as 04:30AM or 05:00AM in the morning, but the only person from the hotel staff (so called caretaker) will say that the gate lock will only be opened by 06:00AM which is crazy! 4. Our room tariff included the cost of geyser facility which was never working during our 3 nights stay. 5. There were a lot of cockroaches in the rooms. 6. Overall my experience was bad and the room tariff is definitely on the higher side considering the condition of the facility on ground.

Shower was not working. The tap was broken.The bathroom door could not be locked. The room service never cleaned the bathroom in our stay of 4 days. When ever asked for bathroom cleaning they will say that someone else will come to clean the bathroom. Asked for an extra pillow the first day twice but got it the next day evening when I asked for it the third time. The TV cable was not recharged for the first 2 days. I have given this hotel average rating but no one should visit this hotel.

Everything looks good but one of the staff members was very rude , I parked my rented bike inside the parking area and that guy was very rude to me and he asked me to take out the bike. The way he was talking like scolding a kid. They deserve 1 star due to such behaviour but I am not giving a review just considering one instance.

They didnt provided blanket. Whole room was smelly like vicks. Ac wasn’t working as windowac properly, weird cold coming out. In terms of cleaning, its total negative. Visited 11k pernight hotels, no one told me “you have to wait in reception while checkout and we will verify the room is somethings went missing” lol that was soo funny my wife also shocked. Even my phone itself 16pro max cost 2L and not even a single product or all together products they have in their room gonna valued 2L and these types of comment they made while checkout. Damn funny.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel PP Palace in Puri, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is ideally located, providing easy access to the beautiful sea beach and the renowned Sri Jagannath Temple, making it perfect for both leisure and pilgrimage trips. The services offered by the hotel are commendable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my stay was comfortable. The rates are genuine, providing good value for money. I found the rooms and the gallery to be clean and well-maintained, which added to the pleasant experience. However, my stay did come with a couple of drawbacks. I stayed on the first floor, and the room's ventilation was not up to the mark. It felt slightly suffocating at times, which could be an issue for guests sensitive to airflow. Additionally, the food served at the restaurant was below expectations. It lacked flavor and variety, which was disappointing considering the overall quality of the hotel. Despite these minor issues, I would still rate Hotel PP Palace a solid 4 out of 5. The excellent location, good service, and clean facilities outweigh the negatives, making it a recommendable place to stay in Puri.

The rooms are quite clean and the services are good. The plus point is it's very near to the jagannath temple it's a 20 mins walk to the main entrance of the temple. And it's 15-20 mins walk to the beach, so you can visit both the places without any problem.And people have knee problems or any other problems that cause them to not walk for long can take tuk tuk or rikshaw service. There are lot of local shops available around the hotel.

I am very happy with the service. The rooms are clean and the staff members are too good..The food is excellent. Best stay at a reasonable price.
