Hotel Sonali Palace

Location wise it is good. No maintenance of the rooms . Very poor condition of the rooms & the wash rooms & are not clean. They even do not provide soaps & towels. We had to ask for the same. Do not ever book this hotel. In gist we had horrible experience.

This is the worst hotel in Puri in terms of everything.They don't have well mannered staff,dustbin and telephone in room,don't have chairs in their room . During the time of checkin the room was totally a mess , wine bottles and cigarette buds were there in the room . Without even proper cleaning they try to give us the room . Frequent Powercuts and most importantly the manager is an arrogant and misbehaved person . Inshot my 6720 hard earned money wasted for 2 days stay . Don't select the hotel by looking pictures on internet .

Location of the Hotel 🏨 is good ( sea facing and near Swargodwar ) but the room quality, services, electric connections are worst. Washroom was not neat and clean. Don't book this hotel. They will not provide you your booked room before 8 am. Behavior of the staff are the worst

The location is just opposite the Bhaja Hari Manna restaurant. The Sonali Palace is the worst hotel I have stayed in so far. Most unprofessional management. The staff are good human beings but don't have basic knowledge of hospitality as they are not at all trained because of unprofessional management. The hotel is renovating though they have accepted bookings with full payment in advance. Actually they knew if they would allow us part payment then nobody would stay there. I even tried to shift my hotel, there was a shortage of rooms in a good hotel near the sea beach on the 17th and 18th of August. We were in a group and my room was Double Bed Premium AC ( Rs. 3024/night). I have captured all the facilities in my room and share the pictures and videos here for your reference. The room was dirty. Though we didn't complain about the AC, the technician came just when we entered the room. That means the AC was not working and they knew it. The toilet is horrible. New WC is there but the flush tank was not working as the water was continuously drained out. After being informed to the front desk there all in one staff came, saw and returned without solutions. Once we requested a waste bin, they have provided but they never came back for cleaning. Room cleaning was not done. The bedsheet is torn, brownish spots in the bed cover, pillows are older and dirty. Not a water bottle or water arrangements in the room. Just see the videos and photos. Don't go by the edit photos they have. My review can be better if the management stopped taking bookings during renovation. I am not recommending this sub-standard hotel.

I would have given zero stars if possible.. This is the worst hotel I'hv ever visited in puri so far.. No proper arrangements are there.. Rooms are shabby, suffocating and unclean.. An extremely bad place to choose for stay especially for families as bathrooms are also not feasible enough and no room services are available..

The staff (Ranjit, Rajesh and Sirji) took money from my senior citizen father online and then switched off the phone! What is this scam going on in broad daylight. Reported this to cyber fraud after 2 days. Has reported the hotel to the regulatory authorities through government channels and got all your bank and personal details out. Don't worry dear we are coming to you.

My experience was good. The manager was so polite n helpful. Whenever we need something they use to fulfill our requirements.

Very bed hotel manager .No receive the call . Not want to give some kind of information. Always disconnect the call etc. Kolkata booking procedure is very problematic I want to book during puja from Sasti ,they told if I book from Panchami to Dasami then they can give me the room . Then I told ok then pls give me the room from 15th Oct but they told if someone checkout on that time then i/we can book . Then I totally confused.
