Royal Orchid Fort Resort, Mussoorie

The property has a charming heritage feel with great architecture and beautiful views, but it doesn’t live up to 5-star expectations. The older building blocks (like 789 floors) are dated—avoid those. Newer constructions are much better. Service was the biggest letdown. Staff seemed unmotivated and unhelpful, with a “take it or leave it” attitude. Only Monika and the restaurant manager stood out with genuine effort. The place also had insect issues and clearly needs better leadership and maintenance. Food was decent for the price, but breakfast was below par. Overall, it felt more like a 3-star experience. Wouldn’t recommend, though the stay was okay.

Great hotel! It was a wonderful experience! The breakfast is amazing! Rishabh and others provided great service! I highly recommend this hotel! It definitely is one of the best hotels in Mussoorie! It also has amazing views and fantastic ambiance

During my recent stay at Royal Orchid Fort Resort, one of the highlights of my experience was the exceptional hospitality extended by Mr. Rishabh . From the moment we arrived, He welcomed us with a warm smile and a genuine sense of care that instantly made us feel at home.||One of the standout features of my stay was the delicious food—every meal was a treat. From the rich Indian curries to the continental offerings and warm breakfast was diverse, fresh, and flavorful.

Neat and clean property.The staff is kind, humble and courteous.The food had all the variety and the taste was delicious.Overall had a comfortable stay.It was our second visit after 6 years and just like last time,we had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

My room number 2111|24/06/25 | When we arrived that same at late night around 12:00 in our same floor in whole calledore very noise by other guest and we complain on reception 2 to 3 time but no one was there to resolve it, have to go, go at reception and called night manager. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CCTV. |25/06/25| Then next day at night around 3:00 3:30 TV gets on automatically 3 to 4 times, at |26/06/25| 3rd day night same issue of TV, when we complain on reception the man came n removed all cables of TV. PLEASE CLICK YOUR CCTV,.|27/06/25| 4th day in our rooms phone it was ringing 4 to 5 times and no one was speaking from other side, that day also I went to reception at night around 3:00!| " We had very bed experience, we pay lots of money for this hotel, but services was very bed, from our side we can't recommend to other ! | Yes , I can say hotel n hotel location is very nice, but services is not much good !

Property has great views..having an old n new wing, it's a mix of vintage n modern. The garden is very well maintained. At the restaurant, food was good but the vibe was quite dull. Breakfast spread was quite average.. Having so many viewponts in the property.. suggest to put in some comfortable sitting apart from the iron benches to enable guests to sit and enjoy there longer.

It's located at an apt location. At the start of a steep uphill Rented vehicles are available which is a big plus. EV charging also exists It's a beautiful place to stay Garden is top notch Free breakfast is average Almost same menu everyday Beware of Monkeys on the balcony. It can get dangerous Rooms are comfortable What the hotel lacked Proper TV Poor internet connectivity You can't attend emergency calls You need to go out to attend It is expensive for the place Definitely not affordable for all But definitely a one time experience for all new visitors. Definitely a big thumbs up for garden and Nature lovers
