Try to avoid this as much as you can. The owner is too arrogant and super selfish. No option to give 0 or negative stars. This guy don’t stick to time and asked us to leave early. We checked out 8 hours early. We thought the rooms are clean but when i went back to use bathroom, the owner did not allow saying it is already cleaned and i noticed that the same bedsheets are used for the next family too. When i asked about using old bedsheets, he said it is yet to be cleaned. Today read other reviews after we had bad experience and realised that we should have checked the reviews before booking. Do check out other reviews before you book this.. There are many good out there..

I stayed in this property on 24rth on August. Price per Night - 4250 INR per room We have been given with rooms in second floor which was under construction. Let me list the pros and Cons Pros 1) Very near to Main Temple 2) Staffs are Friendly Cons 1) Rooms are not clean as per the price they are charging 2) No basic amenities like water bottles , Brush, Toothpaste 3) No TV connection , upon asking they told as floor is under construction there is no cable connection provided 4) Hot water comes only between 6 am to 9 am 5) No backup power for AC 6) Bathroom exhaust window is not covered. someone from nearby building can be seen through this. 7) No lift to go to 2nd or 1st floor 8) Bed sheets had some sort of stains as per the attached phots So basically for the price of 4250 INR this property not worthy. If the floor is under construction they should not rent such rooms. Bad experience overall. Not worth of money

Location is close to the mutt entrance., and so can be a very good choice. Very much acceptable rooms and toilets. Pricey for the facilities and services offered.

Good place to stay and very very near to temple. Owner / manger is very supportive who helped from starting to end. Rooms are very good. Hot water is 24hrs coming. We stayed in 2 nd floor. This hotel don't have any lift. Also main problem is we need to request for all. If you ask they will do.. Best hotel to stay.

Rooms are not worth of money. No lift, no drinking water, soap, no complimentary coffee/tea, and also for 4 bed only 2 blankets are provided. Near to temple.. But not worth of paying hefty price for limited service.

Residency is very close to Mantralayam matt. The rooms are very good and neat. We got room on the 2nd floor and the only disadvantage is there is no lift here. There is a place for car parking within the premises. Staff are very kind and helpful to take luggage to rooms.

My good experience during the past visit wasn't the same for my parents. I had booked this for my parents trusting my past experience and my parents accommodation was poorly handled. Though the issue was temporarily resolved after a heated telephone call from Bengaluru, the hotel owner and caretaker should learn to manage the bookings, treat elders with care and respect, and understand the guests preference. The hotel is undergoing construction work on the second floor and prior information on this was not given. How can a 62 year old, with sensitive lung capacity be able to stay at a dusty place ? The answer given by the owner and his caretaker was - "other guests are also staying" & "there would be dust where there's construction, which is common". The only common thing my parents could note is their money minded behavior. Running a hotel at a place which has high value of religious significance, you need to show some respect for your guests who visit the place for a cause. Coming to the amenities- They do not provide anything before hand. No drinking water, You need to ask for the towels, TV wasn't working (point to note for other guests who would like to give some time for their leisure) and hot water facility is very limited (unavailable on the second day). Attention is only given to a specific class of guests, which was very disappointing. They are only concerned about their business which is purely focused on making money. I will never recommend this stay for those whom I care about.
