A cozy boutique hotel next to peaceful beach My wife and I had booked just one day stay in this hotel after seeing reviews which were mixed. The vibe of the place is very elegant old worldish. The entrance is a lovely passage to this old bungalow turned hotel. I have always been charmed by such hotels and this one did not disappoint. On entering and checking the room, we immediately went onto booking site to extend our reservation for more days. The rooms are nice and clean with a functional restroom. The fitments/furniture in room are also old world style which add to the charm. I would definitely recommend this place.

It's a very beautiful British-inspired property but disappointing staff/owner and hospitality. The gates were locked and after continuous honking, none would respond. It made us think whether the property was shut and we were not informed. Absolutely ZERO safety and security. Anyone could walk-in and won't be questioned. I did not see any security and the property doors were kept open all the time. In our two day stay, not even once our rooms were cleaned nor were the toiletries were restocked. The staff is beyond irresponsible and non-caring. Never available at the moment you need. We had to bring paper plates from outside for food. This is highly a non-recommended place if it's a family visit. Definitely not the worth of price paid.

Beautiful hotel rich in atmosphere of days gone by. My room was enormous, clean and furnished with period furniture. The bathroom impeccable. There are also pleasant sitting and dining areas. Staff are cooperative and very kind. The location is close to the beach and the fishermen village, far from the chaotic traffic. I highly recommend it.

Very bad management of the property.we had booked for 4 nights and it was one issue after another and all they have to say is sorry.We had requested for nearby rooms 2 months in advance which they conveniently forgot and after insisting we got it the next day. As soon as we reached we realised the internet doesn't work. They said the cable was damaged. Also once repaired the Internet doesn't work anywhere but the reception. They act surprised when we complain about it. No proactive housekeeping. We have to follow up and get things cleaned inspite of leaving the keys with them while we go out so that it is done. Cleaning of rooms not done properly while we stayed for 4 days. Toileteries and tea items weren't replenished everyday. Towels not changed everyday. No one is available most of the times in case we have a problem. The kitchen was also mostly closed to order anything and if we complain they lie that we are here all the time. No intercom. You need to walk down to them everytime you need something. Once suddenly there was no water in toilets. Overall just not worth the money paid. The beach is a 10 minute walk and doesnt have many shops just some shacks. Its a beautiful old bunglow but defenitely not worth the price with the mismanagement. Food is ok.

with Hotel Z one has a close association, and it has been many years. No place in Puri can boast of a heritage villa which speaks volumes of the taste, vision and grandeur of its owners and their impeccable , inimitable style. Puri , the beach and hotel Z unfold a beautiful story which one must experience.

Thank you for a lovely stay. This beautiful heritage hotel has spacious rooms (with mosquito nets), good food, helpful and friendly staff and a sociable atmosphere. They also helped me arrange good transport to various places. An enjoyable visit, I'd recommend.

Comfy and cozy non ac room. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was top-notch. All the staff were great; Pratap was very helpful, Tukuna had some great suggestions and of course Yugabrata was always on hand. 10/10 would definitely stay again

Lovely hotel, set away from the bustle of the town and close to the beach. Exceptionally courteous staff. Great food served by Kedar. Nice hospitality by Pradhan and Lucky. Overall an excellent experience. We had travelled as a large group with a number of senior citizens. The staff took good care of us. look forward to visiting again.
