Hotel Green Haven

The hotel outside is painted very well and attractive. While going inside it is a day dream. It is pathetic. No water heater is there. If you want hot water they will do switch heater for some time and then switch off. If u want some more water, u have to wait and call them for some more time. They are having switches with them for operating. Location wise is good. Near to many amenities like bustand, hotel etc. it's not budget friendly. Main thing is, there is no lift for the building. U have climb by steps only . Corridor is always smells with cigerette smell. No cleanly ness in the rooms. Not at all recommended.

Hotel location is reachable to Bus stop. Rooms are ok, bathrooms are good. But TV is not working and there is no bed lamp. Price is not reasonable as per provided facilities. Staff(Thimmayya) was good and responding whenever we call.

The room are small but the only issue we faced was on the cleanliness part, the bucket kept in the washroom was dirty, even the bedsheets were worn out & torn at some plcaes. For heater, we had to call the service boy to switch on the heater everytime we wanted hot water which was a bit inconvenience. The fan made noise the whole night, there was dust on the floor & furniture. We were on a 4 day trip to Coorg in the last week of Dec so the only option available for us was Green Haven Hotel as compared to other available options. We didn't want to spend much on the stay since we were out the entire day. So, we used to only come back to the hotel to rest in the night. But all the main locations are at a 5 -10 mins walk from the hotel so that was a plus for us.

I think one of the affordable hotels in coorg, located nearby bus stop (5 Min walk). We got 1 room at 3K per night on new year eve.. You can't expect much at this price. Service is okay okay. Ambiance is average. No inhouse restaurant (Go to Pakshala restaurant for best veg food) AC rooms are available. Hygiene is average. Hotel owner is helpful and Kind. Keep this as a option in case you have not done booking online.

The only advantage of this place is the location. Otherwise it's sorta like a lodge with basic amenities with a bed and bathroom. They don't provide water and even the cups they had in the rooms were dirty. They have around 10 rooms with basic amenities. Your room may or may not have a balcony. The rooms have dirty curtains. If you are looking for a cozy and luxurious stay in basic rate this isn't your place. If your moto is to travel around with a place to crash at nights only then it is your place. Choose wisely. There is hotels, wine shops, and market close by the hotel. The staffs are ok, relatively less helpful when asking for information.

We couldn't find any better hotels as coorg is mostly crowded during weekends. So we booked here. The room was little old type but if it was clean enough we wouldn't have minded. We found some residues of previous guests. It had to be neat and clean as the rooms weren't any cheaper! It looked more like a lodge. Pros: Complaints apart, the staff was really attentive and hostile.

The owner of this property is very cheap type. He doesn't know how to behave with guests. Don't book this hotel

Good hotel with decent price. Had a comfortable stay. The owner is soft spoken and was friendly. It's located in Madikeri and very near to the main spots like Raja Seat and Madikeri Fort. The only con is that they don't have a kitchen but they still provide your breakfast from outside. Overall, would recommend the place.
