I had a wonderful stay at Honey Palace Homestay. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it feel like a true home away from home. I booked a single room with shared bathroom for a day on 11OCT2024, the place is nice and neatly maintained. The staff was also nice and explained the rules and regulations. I extended my stay for next day 12OCT2024 and also paid for the same. My problem started after that, i was informed by the local people that from 12th Oct afternoon 15:00 onwards till 13th Oct morning 08:30 there will not be any vehicle access to the property as city traffic will be blocked for Dusherra celebrations. This was not informed to me by the owner when i extended my stay. I was a solo traveller in two wheeler and got stuck. I have to start my ride on 13th early morning to reach my hometown Trivandrum. When i called the owner ahe informed that I will be refunded only if she gets another customer for the same room. She refunded me the security deposit of 500/- only. I had to take my belongings & my two wheeler handed over the keya to caretaker on 12th Oct at 11:00 and vacate the room and took a room outside the city. I would appreciated the owner if she had told me the situation well in advance when i requested for extending my stay, as im from Trivandrum and first time visiting Coorg, i had no clue about the situation. Also the owner should have shown the courtesy to atleast refund half the room charges as I have not utilised the room on second day.

Very clean rooms.. hot water available.. parking on road side only.. but the road is free from traffic.. the room with attached bath room had no wall chargers near bed.. only one charging point connected near bed.. but it ia not a big issue.. other than that everything was ok.. 500 rs security deposit will be refunded during check out.. location is very convenient to major attractions with less crowd..

As a solo traveler who has stayed in numerous hostels and homestays, I can confidently say that Honey Palace Homestay was the best experience I've had. Traveled with family. Booked room with shared washroom.by mistake. Owner immediately called up and changed to attached bathroom. Nice gesture. Room and bathroom was clean and bed was comfortable. The balcony sitout space has a great view facing Raja seat. Overall nice and quiet place, great location and wonderful hosts.

Rooms are spacious and feel like home Accessible to most place of the coorg town. Bus stand in half km Had a good stay here last weekend Balcony view is very nice Update : I have visited once again . Food was very good . It's very good to stay here . I am planning to visit again along with friends to visit more places in coorg

The owner and staffs were cool and make sure the provide with the utmost comfort and best room for what the guest pays for. The only concern was we had a really small room for the stay since all the rooms were booked on the day of our stay.

It was very pleasant room , the landlords were very kind and helpful they even helped in early departure. It was a nice stay I recommend it surely
