Hotel Caveri Comfort Inn

This hotel is situated in the heart of Madikeri. Madikeri fort is about 100 m from this place. This hotel is also in close proximity to Raja's seat and the bus stand. The rooms are not great but for the amount (Rs. 1000), it is okay. It is good for a budget friendly hotel in the centre of the town.

We booked 2 four bedrooms and 3 three bedrooms. I stayed in a 3 bedroom which had lots of troubles. The bathroom has no latch outside and a broken latch inside. The television was not working, most of the plug points had no power supply. I stayed on the 2nd floor. No lift service available. One needs to climb stairs. Cockroaches and flies are found in the room. But the people who stayed in the 4 bedroom felt ok with the room. But room rent was affordable and budget friendly. The lodge is located in the prime area of Madikeri. Walkable distance from most of the important places. No restaurant inside but many are there very near to this place. My suggestion is to book only if you have no other option for this budget.

Very badly maintained hotel. They kept asking for more money, and later found out that they charged us more than what they had advertised online. They charged as double clearly we mentioned the guy in the hotel at the time of booking room we clearly asked about checkout time and the counter boy mentioned that we can checkout at 7pm the next day and we will be charged for one day. But at the time of checkout they are mentioning they’re are charging for a full day after 12 o'clock which they did not inform earlier and they clearly denied words of their own employees. And kept saying "you should have known about this! " The in the reception was very rude and impolite. Worst experience.

Please don't go to this hotel. Rooms are not clean. Providing used bedsheets.Staff behaviour is too bad. Staff behaved too bad and using weapons. Very worst hotel I have never seen before.

It's nice.. Charges are a bit high which I felt and no complementary breakfast provided... Staff service was good... Located very near to the public bus stand is a plus point....Satisfied overall

I was there on 13th Aug 22 and my experience with the property was mixed . Good 1. Location was very nice (nearby market and good resto) 2. Staff was very polite and help full. 3. Cleaning moderate (bedsheet, towel and bathroom was ok to use ) Bad 1. there is no restoring(but you can recurrent within 100 met) 2. Preparty was very old and not maintained properly. 3. rooms are Damp and moist. This property required renovation. Due to this Damp and moist old rooms I will not recommend this property.

We stayed in this hotel for 1N/1D, the hotel is easily locatable near bus stand. Rooms are neatly maintained but not very spacious. It is an affordable mid budget hotel but no complimentary breakfast is provided. There was a power cut by mid night for nearly 4 to 5 hours, but no power backup provided. Since the climate is cool we managed it. Service is ok. Can be improved little better. For free wi-fi they say since our room is in 2nd floor it is not accessible. Then I am surprised why they say free wi-fi during booking.
