Rooms were neat and clean but the food service system is different from other restaurants. Washrooms are clean. The workers of this hotel food service do treat costumer in very poor manner. Customers has to wait for min 15 mins to get orders. The restaurant is only pure veg and people living in the hotel can get complimentary breakfast after 8:00 am. Even outsiders can dine in the restaurant but will have to pay. Room services are also available. Parking is a bit small. A/C in the rooms don't work properly as well as in the restaurant. There was too much of a smoking smell and the rooms were not properly ventilated.

It's a 2 star hotel. Location is good and room is okay. Parking in the basement is first cum first serve. The restaurant opens at 7 for public but for guests, breakfast is not served till 8am. Weird and illogical policy. The phone in room doesn't work and receptionist asks to call on a mobile number. No room service. The tap in the bath is too rigid to rotate. The hotel doesn't give towel etc in room until you ask them. Another weird policy that stops them to make room ready properly before guests check in. AC in room is very noisy.

We stayed at chikmagalur unit of Treebo for a day. What a breathtaking experience! The entire staff including at the restaurant were exceptionally friendly. The quality and price of food were quite reasonable. The room was quite good and clean. I would definitely recommend

One of the worst experiences I have had in a hotel! 1. The shower didn’t have water and despite complaining to the receptionist no one was sent to solve the problem for the entirety of our stay. 2. I witnessed the receptionist eat food using his hand from a room service plate that the waiter was taking up. When he realised that I had seen him, he wasn’t even apologetic and just kept staring at me with an intimidating look. 3. The basement smelt so bad that it was difficult for us to even get into our car. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they have a serious management change.

We paid 1686 and booked a day prior to check in. To be frank, we didn't expect much. To our surprise, the room was decent, running hot water, AC and clean bathroom. The only concern we had was with the curtain and bed spread not being too clean. The complementary Break fast was also good, with 4 different varieties of food.

Treebo sunrise located in a good location. Ample parking for small cars. Rooms are compact. Running hot water. Ac was not working properly in my room. Rooms were clean but can get better. Support staff were helpful. Don't know why hotels are not providing a cloth rack to dry clothes. Chikmagalur is situated amidst lots of waterfalls. Guests will have lot of wet clothes to dry but there s no facility for that. Had to make do with chairs and tables. Seems like a no brainer to get a cloth racks but somehow hotels don't see value in it.

Hi all, I apologize for the delay in posting, but I wanted to share my experience during my recent stay at Hotel Sunrise in Chikmagalur. As someone who travels frequently, I was excited about visiting the place, but unfortunately, my stay was not as pleasant as I had hoped. I feel compelled to bring attention to the behavior of one person in particular, who is in charge of food service at the hotel—his name is Uday. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, which was confirmed by the hotel staff. My family and I, including my 2-year-old toddler, were staying at the hotel. On the first day, breakfast was served with one dosa, upma, and two pooris. The food was okay, but what bothered me was that they did not inform us about any limitations regarding the food, whether it was limited or unlimited. Additionally, I didn’t see a smile or any sign of friendliness from the staff—rather, it felt as though we were inconveniencing them. When we requested an extra poori for our toddler, they gave us an unpleasant look, but we chose to overlook it. The situation worsened the following day. When we again requested an extra poori for our toddler, Uday, the person in charge, informed us that there would be an additional charge for it. We were shocked—not because of the money, but because of the way they treated us. It’s not about the cost, but about how guests should be treated with respect. We decided not to take the extra poori and ended up leaving our food on the table. I also paid the ₹20 charge for the extra poori from the previous day, which Uday had billed us. I would advise anyone reading this to think twice before staying at this hotel. While the lodge staff were generally nice, the restaurant staff, particularly the manager, was rude and unprofessional. Very bad experience. Well they treat a people as a unknown person. The worker of this hotel is not comfortable with any costumer. They treat costumer in very poor manner. totally very bad experience. Waste of money. Please choose other hotel for stay night.
