Alpha Jungle Resort

Wow!!! What an awesome place I stayed and after leaving this place I cherished my beautiful memory in Wayanad. I came as a guest and left with feeling as a family member of the host. It was very pleasant stay in this new property where you can enjoy the green beautiful view -tea plantations and coconut trees and you wake up by marvellous of bird songs in the morning. It was my first time in Wayanad so I was not experienced and was not sure about my plans, however the host assisted me by organising Tuk Tuk driver to go to best zipline place, visiting tea plantations and eyes blinding fantastic waterfalls. I just paid only 700 rupiy for Tuk Tuk driver, interesting in this stay I can highlight is gym, chess and billiards. Wow that was the best experience for me for this price. So if you are coming solo traveller to this place you never will get bored. The next very important thing I want to tell is food that staff prepares. My god it was so delicious!! They prepared for me for breakfast, lunch and dinner: idli, chapati, parotha with chicken, fish curry, biryani, mini meals- whatever you request the cook prepares) lots of fruits especially bananas they give you a lot inclusive for food. I was around 102 countries in the world and because of my genius 3level I saw this place however he game me the whole day time and took me to the best beautiful places in Wayanad for 10 hours. The room I booked was budget room that costs only 800 and the host upgraded for free and I enjoyed my stay. There is queen bed, nice big TV and big table with 4chairs as a working place that I loved much. Towels were so clean and my room was very clean and hygienic. I did not see even one mosquito so I was happy because I am allergic for insect bites. The water in the shower was warm and you can adjust it for hot and cold water. Worst experience ever I had. Pool not at all cleaned even we booked resort 1 day before. Room had bad smell,TV not working. No outdoor and indoor activities appreciated. if you want drinking water,you should take it with you from outside and if you want tovels,soap,paste etc you want ask them or else you won't get it. There is 800 rupees fee for getting the resort in jeep even it's their responsibility to get us there. No room services. And the main thing,if you complaint about these things ,manager will tell us they don't want our money,just telling us to get lost from there. And they told us that they won't give vehicle to get out from the jungle. Please rethink about your visit to there before confirming and ask the manager about all the arrangements you will get.

This is just a room stay and not a resort. This is only for bachelors. Family/kids/couples avoid this.||||The approaching road is bad , if you are going in car its difficult drive but can somehow reach it. No board sign so difficult to find the place.||||The property is not well maintained, rooms are very ill maintained, spring beds with very low quality, restrooms dint have locks/bolts, so be careful:). Main door locks are also not available, one housekeeping guy is present who utters no one come here so we don't give any locks, if you are going for site-seeing places better carry all valuables with you. No food available so you need to get it parceled, or housekeeping guy will get it from nearby if you pay him. Bargain the rate with the owner you will get for cheaper price||||Only good thing of property is the bonfire, dance/shout enjoy your food/drinks (no time limits), other than this nothing is good and nothing is there in the property.

Myself and my friends booked a room in this resort...to get to the place we were asked to pay an extra charge of 800 rupees from the resort gate to the place of stay in their own vehicle...if we chose not to do that, we are to walk around 3.5 kms uphill to the same. So far i personally have stayed in quite a number of resorts and hotels... usually the management provides the pickup and drop from their compound...but this extra charge scheme seemed fishy..anyways...to continue...we checked in, got the room keys.. opened the door and it smelled bad!! The room was dusty and had a bad smell. The bed sheets and pillow had stains on it...we could make out that the room wasn't cleaned for a while...we pre-booked the room...why couldn't they keep a clean room before the guest arrives when they know in advance that they expecting guests.... None of the amenities they mentioned was provided...when requested for the outdoor/ indoor amenities, the staffs replies were you guys adjust and you guys can go!!!...In a nutshell our stay and weekend got destroyed by the irresponsible and unfriendly management.. My opinion for anyone planning to book any rooms anywhere is that read reviews about that place and then try making a phone call to the place and assess...try to see how long it takes for them to attend your call, how do they address you, how do they reply your queries, are they in a hurry to hang up your call...etc...you will get a vibe...from next time onwards i gotta do it... For fellow guests and traveler, this place is not worth.

Very bad resort.. Service is very very poor.. They have only 2 staff for service and in kitchen. I have sent 28 members and they didn't treat well. Rooms doesn't have TV and hot water facilities. Don't prefer this resort if you are looking for a good and peaceful vacation

I would like to share my experience when i stayed in this so called customer friendly resort... I m a person who travels and stays in resorts/hotels quite often, but this time i had a bad experience ( this is not the only time that i had a similar experience).. firstly the management didn't provide what they advertised...the room was dusty and smelly, the sheets and pillow were untidy..in fact it had yellow stains and it smelled too...there was a TV which didn't work, when enquired about it the staff was unfriendly and replied in a way that I committed some crime...the resort says it has a pool, but i asked about it, the staff said its not clean in an indifferent tone...why wud they advertise about it?? The customer service is so poor...dont just rely on my words..stay in this place few hours...you guys would understand... anyways, i would never ever book this place again...lesson learnt! This place is of poor quality and is not at all worth the money and time!!

There were leak everywhere in the roof. They provided another room, it was ok.
