Palm Paradise Beach Resort Varkala

Hospitality at its best! Prasanth, who manages this place, is incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming. We had a truly pleasant stay – the rooms were cosy, hygienic, and well-maintained. Even when the solar water heater stopped working due to rains, they immediately provided immersion rods, which was really thoughtful. Drinking water bottles were provided, and we could refill them multiple times without any hassle. We booked 2 rooms for 5 adults (3 + 2 occupancy) for ₹4,000, which was a great deal. The property also has good car parking facilities. The location is perfect – Black Beach is just a short walk away, and it’s one of the best spots to visit early in the morning. Kerala Café, a must-try eatery, is also close by. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cosy and comfortable stay in Varkala.

The service was extremely poor and very unprofessional. This is not a resort or hotel, but it is a guesthouse managed by a single person, so do not expect proper service. Even basic amenities such as a water bottle were not provided. The approach road is also in terrible condition, with numerous potholes and mud, making access very inconvenient. The only reason I gave 2 stars is for the room.
