NillDecent rooms with moderate facilities. Located in the cliff itself. Good services. Manager was very helpful. Being located in the cliff makes it a bit difficult to access the property by road due to narrow roads. The property has its own cafe as well as access to almost all cafes located in the cliff. The only negative felt was it was a bit over priced

NillThe hotel had a great location right at the cliff with stunning views. The rooms were comfortable, but the bathrooms were quite outdated and not up to par. Considering the price, I wouldn’t recommend it.

NillRooms are spacious and there are rooms with extra side cots which you be very useful if you are having 3 person in your room. Bathrooms are super clean however, hot water was not available in shower but can get in tap. It is located in north cliff with so much greenery surrounded by. No activities and amenities like TV was working. Wi-Fi is not working as well. AC was quite good. Located in cliff so we have enough shops and cafés to eat around the property. When we were there it was raining and it was amazing. Overall a good stay but little pricey. Person managing the property is friendly.

NillGood for stay, nice and clean rooms, though right in the middle of the cafes in the cliff, once inside the property, it's a very silent and peaceful place. The staff is also very friendly. They have a cafe just outside the resort, room service can be arranged from there.Recommended

★★★★My stay at "Rajadhani 5th Season" hotel in Varkala was a mixed experience. Situated on the North Cliff, the hotel's location was undeniably its biggest advantage. There were plenty of food options in the neighborhood, and the small cafe in front of the sea added to the charm. Being able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea while having a meal was a real treat.||||However, the hotel itself showed signs of age and in need of maintenance. Despite this, the owner's hospitality and dedication to ensuring a pleasant stay were evident. It was indeed value for money given the prime location and the warmth of the staff.||||One drawback worth mentioning is the narrow path leading to the hotel, which could be inconvenient, especially if you have bulky luggage.||||In conclusion, "Rajadhani 5th Season" in Varkala offers a unique experience due to its location and the adjacent cafe with a sea view. While the hotel may need some upkeep, the friendly owner and competitive pricing make it a reasonable choice for travelers who prioritize location and ambiance.

NillIf you read my other Varkala property review, you will know the backstory to my stay at this property. I was having breakfast at the restaurant of this property (on the morning of Dec-21) and casually sauntered into the property to check if there were rooms (I was looking to check out from the other Varkala property where I had stayed the night before - because of the rude owner.). Anzil, who was managing the property mentioned that there was a room available. It turned out to be closest to the gate (and the cliff face) and with a great view of the Arabian sea, and gave helpful guidance regarding the shortest route from the property that I was looking to check out from, to Rajadhani 5th Season. He was also waiting at the back gate of the property and helped get my considerable luggage in as I hauled it from the property I was checking out from. Anzil was very helpful throughout the next 30 hours of my stay at the property. He also arranged a cab for us to be dropped off at the Thiruvananthapuram Railway Station. Room: Spacious enough for 3 people, air-conditioned, neat, and clean with a king-sized bed with side tables, a separate single bed, a couple of chairs, coffee table, and a closet to put away our bags. Bathroom: Overall, clean. The shower cubicle had a glass panel missing which resulted in the shower water entering what should have been the dry area - NOT a showstopper. Food: A great plus. The attached restaurant had a menu with local/South Indian options as well as continental options. They were able to adjust the spice levels as per our individual preferences. Serving portions were generous. Overall: I'd definitely stay in this property if I were visiting Varkala again.
