Forest County Munnar

Forest County is one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever visited. The location is right in the middle of nature, surrounded by greenery, fresh air, and stunning views. The off-road ride to reach the property is just amazing—fun, adventurous, and sets the mood for the stay. The staff here are truly wonderful. They’re friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. From the moment we arrived till we checked out, the hospitality was top-class and made us feel completely at home.

Amazing experience beautiful location and rooms had basic amenities. Balconies have great views. Dining was good too not to many option only 1 veg and 1 non veg, but staff is caring and willing to help.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at Forest County Resort, Munnar! From the moment we arrived, the serene ambiance and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains took our breath away. Nestled high in the hills, the location is nothing short of magical — it's a haven for anyone seeking peace, tranquility, and a true escape into nature. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. Special thanks for their hospitality — they went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. The off-road jeep ride to the resort was an adventure in itself and added to the overall experience. Our cottage was cozy, clean, and offered a spectacular view of the misty hills. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping tea on the balcony felt like a dream. The food was fresh and homely, and while the menu wasn’t extravagant, the quality and service made up for it. We also enjoyed the activities like the glass bridge and trekking trails. The blend of adventure and relaxation here is just right. Highly recommended for couples, families, or solo travelers looking to disconnect from the chaos and reconnect with nature. We can’t wait to return!

The room was very dirty. There were spiders and other bugs.but it was very good There were very limited options for food and once I found a cockroach climbing out of the curry The location was great... there only thing which made out for the food was the view and the village tour and the amenities

Feedback on Recent Stay at Forest County Dear Team, We had made an online booking for Forest County three days prior to our visit. At the time of booking, the following activities were promised as part of the package: Dinner Breakfast Campfire BBQ Jeep Safari (Pickup & Drop) Forest Walk We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the Forest County Estate Team. They gave us a warm welcome, provided excellent food, and ensured that the campfire, BBQ, and Jeep Safari (including pickup and drop) were all perfectly arranged. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay, despite missing the Forest Walk due to the unavoidable climate situation. Suggestion: Kindly ensure there is clear and consistent coordination between the online booking team and the Forest County Estate management, especially regarding local weather conditions and activity availability. This would help set the right expectations for guests and ensure a better overall experience. We are giving a 5-star rating solely because of the Forest County Estate Management Team. The resort was nice and well-maintained, but I was really disappointed with their service. I had looked forward to the trekking program, but they cancelled it just because no other guests had signed up. They didn’t allow solo participation, which was quite frustrating.
