Lovely Hotel in the Cantonment area at Varanasi. The location is absolutely ideal for anyone who wants to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Spacious, clean rooms and a courteous staff definitely make it a worthwhile stay. Food is also decent and absolutely worth the money. Will definitely come again!

The largest rooms you could imagine in any city centre property. We had a privacy blast staying at the two Suites we booked for ourselves. Perfect place for staying at the city centre, ghats are like a 20 mins, Sarnath is 20 Mins, Mall is like a 2 mins walk, best restaurants and pubs and lounges are like 5-10 mins walk. Surrounded with all the hotels in the vicinity we could see only expats and revellers for the new years. Had a good time at the gala dinner.

Good property Parking facilities are bit challenged Renovation is going ,many amenities are not fully functional. No specific cafe is inside. Vegan option is limited Food quality is good. Room services are positives Staff behaviour is equally good Room decor is appealing and quite clean Minibar is present but with vaccum. Screen size should be little more bigger . At least one floor with smoking zone must be there. Overall adding ++ +& half for recommended out of +++++.

We arrived early off train & had to wait in foyer for ~2.5hrs. The twin room was good. Linen was clean, bathroom facilities were fine. Had to request English tv channels ( seems to be the norm in India). Restaurant was good & choice of menu & buffet items was ok. Location was good. Think there are better hotels but it was good for a 2 night stay.

Our experience at Rivatas was all positive. Large spacious rooms which are supremely cleaned and comfortable. Huge hot shower. The staff catered to our every request. The food in the restaurant was lazeez ( delicious ). A special shoutout and thank you to Aadil, our fantastic waiter who satisfied our culinary wishes. Just a tip. Ask Aadil for his ginger tea in a pot and treat yourself to a chocolate cake.

Excellent service. Rooms were clean and the food was very tasty, staff were attentive and make you feel comfortable. Aadil was very accommodative and fed us well. Bijay our driver made sure our visit in the city was safe. Priom our tour guide was excellent and very informative. Will definitely recommend to make a visit to Varanasi and stay at this hotel.

Comfortable Stay. Good Hospitality. Special mention Chitransh and Vivek Mishra at the restaurant. And Kamlesh in housekeeping. Made beautiful Ganesha with towels. Location is also good. Only minus point was that the breakfast spread is very limited.

We are extremely pleased with our stay and the services provided by Rivatas by Ideal. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well designed. Suresh who provided us airport pickup was very accomodating considering our 12 hour flight delay. The restaurant at the hotel had delicious food, especially the breakfast buffet. The hotel even had a saree shop, which saved us some shopping time in Varanasi...
