Hotel Surya, Kaiser Palace

Been staying in Surya Kaiser for a few years and time has come to thank their whole team for the hospitality and pleasure we derive staying here. The location is ideal, couple of minutes drive from Train Station, 10-15 minutes drive to Vishwanathji temple. The hotel is Majestic offering 5 star comforts at much reasonable prices. Dont forget the sumptuous breakfast, offering vide varieties of cuisines along with live counters. The ground floor restaurant is majestic and gives a feel of royalty, especially the beautiful flooring that is more than a century old. Overall a perfect stay.

Excellent place to stay in Varanasi. Good location, excellent ambience and food. Very comfortable stay. The Hotel has done renovations over the years and added more mordern amenities for its customers. Cafe, restaurants, bar, pool and spa...all have been renovated, which adds more glamour and comfort to its customers. The lawn is always well maintained

The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were neat and clean. Had an amazing time staying here with my family. The live music with dinner in the courtyard was mesmerizing and made the whole experience too beautiful for us. The commute to the temples was convenient too. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Varanasi.

Location is good, ambience is good, food quality is really good. However rooms without balcony need at least some view instead of just a blue steel boundary. Requested at front desk if we can be shifted to other room but never got back to us. Staff at front desk not that trained but other staff especially at Canton Royale are proactive and welcoming.

Its located away from ghats. Nothing to do around hotel. Hotel is good and spacious. But bathroom is untidy. Toilet bowl was unclean. Even the toilet spray was leaking and messy. Ac doesnt work properly. Staff are courteous. Could do a better work for the amount paid.

Pros Excellent for the price. Rooms - spacious, airy, clean, well maintained Housekeeping - excellent Reception staff - excellent Swimming pool - excellent Restaurant - Ala Carte dinner was good Breakfast buffet - spread was good.But refilling of dishes was slow and insufficient. Service was average. Staff were not able to handle the crowd. Location is excellent.Close to all the places to see. Overall - would surely revisit and recommend.

My experience at Surya kaiser palace was great indeed. Hospitality, food, room, drivers everything was wonderful. The entire view of hotel is totally beautiful as well as pleasant. The breakfast buffet had many options. The food was delicious and service was also good. The suite room was really spacious as well as pleasant. My overall stay was fantastic and awesome.

I feel the hospitality lacks, They gave us the room 220, which is overall okay. There was a construction work happening, despite of telling multiple times to ask to stop as it was on top of the head and we couldn’t sleep & enjoy the stay. I also called at housekeeping and asked for iron, but didn’t get it and had to go with a crushed suit as I had to attend aarti and was running out if time. In evening I went myself and asked for it. It was a sharp hammer sound which was very annoying.We complained multiple times at reception but no one heard. The property is beautiful, unfortunately service and hospitality sucks.
