hotel 9 City Zirakpur

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel keeps changing name for some reason. North inn, 9 city and now it has a board saying Hotel Cargo causing confusion. When I reached the reception a couple was arguing with the receptionist about getting locked out of their room. When he finally got to me he said there was no bell boy to carry the luggage, our rooms are on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator. This was unacceptable since I was traveling with my parents who couldn't lift heavy suitcases. Then another family arrived which had booked rooms through some online portal and were told that all rooms were sold out and the hotel had not received their booking. All this within 10 minutes of arriving while I was still at the reception. We asked them to refund our advance payment since carrying luggage was not an option. Finally the receptionist himself agreed to carry the luggage. The rooms we were sold as "Super Deluxe" were absolutely filthy. The carpet was smelling and had stains and mold all over it. Only one of the rooms had a phone. There were no sufficient towels or other accessories provided. Overall it was a complete nightmare. Thankfully we stayed only for the night and left for an early morning flight. Booked this just couple of hours before checking in and fell for the high rating. Please don't fall for the 5 star reviews - all of them are very generic without any photos and most are posted within a span of a few days, all typical signs indicating a lack of authenticity.

The stay was very comfortable with good spacious, clean and hygienic rooms and toilet. The support staff is very polite and service is very prompt. The food is tasty and all needs are catered. The hotel is located centrally and its very easy to move towards Shimla or Delhi or Chandigarh. Overall a wonderful stay.

The rooms are not clean, took multiple calls to get someone to clean the WC on arrival. Was given a room on the third floor where wifi never worked. The staff was very rude and did not offer any alternative. They asked me to pay extra to upgrade for a room available on a lower floor. There was some issue with them receiving a payment confirmation from Agoda (room was pre-paid and I shared all details on arrival). Despite that, they kept calling until 11pm asking about payment details. They had no option to order for food as their cook was not in town. I had a second reservation with them after two days, but cancelled that in the first hour of my arrival. Definitely avoid this hotel altogether.

Terrible Terrible experience! Avoid at all costs. These guys cannot manage customer service and called the cops and had us kicked out at 12am on the streets. Rude egomaniac owner who doesn’t know hospitality. You’d be doing yourself a favor by not booking a room here. They don’t have a elevator and have three floors. The room we got offered had dirty underwear lying around, a dirty washroom, I cleaned sheets. Our peers got a room with electricity issues and got their room switched. Once the electricity came back they were asked to switch rooms again at midnight! Owner insisted to kick them out and shift them from the room. Overall just avoid this place! These guys don’t have trained staff or manners or etiquette.

The worst ever stay experience of my life. I had booked a stay for 14th oct ... They showed some other photos on the booking site and gave me terrible room.. when complaint about the same .. the owner of this hotel yelled me saying "JA NAHI MILEGA ROOM". Don't ever book your stay here there are alot other hotels in Chandigarh which are much much better than this

I visited so many property at chandigarh but this is the best property I think. Awesome property at chandigarh. Anyone who want friendly environment specially manager( Mr pawan) and girl ( Ms Richa) on reception they both help a lot if you need anything else from menu or any help they are so frendly. I love the hospitality of this place.

Visited the hotel in night and welcoming facilities are very good. Foods of inbuilt restaurtant is awesome. Hotel staffs are always ready for help. Cleanliness is mind blowing after every 4 hours staffs clean the room.

This hotel is near perfect! Great location, attractive rooms, comfortable, spacious, neat and clean bedrooms and bathrooms, attentive service, good breakfast and probably the most comfortable bed. Love to stay again. Well done to all concerned!
