Hotel Sarovar Regency

Hotel is at great location for many things you don't even need any transport you can just walk . Room are small but clean. I think they need to improve the service staff specially the night staff was not helpful. They even say that is not my work and did not even care to call someone who's work was that we Waited till morning to get that done. Food options are not great and tastes average usually i book hotel along with breakfast but thank God this time I haven't book breakfast. I usually travel a lot and prefer to stay in same hotels as I used the services but this is not one of them If I will travel to Amritsar in future will look for some other option.

Hotel is very near to golden temple and almost to every tourist spots. You can easily get rickshaw rides from here. Hotel ambience, hygiene is very nice and rates are also affordable. Food, staff are also very nice and great hospitality. Highly recommended. Enjoy your stay!

Excellent hotel and we stayed after 6 years but quality and warmth are the same. Professional and helpful staffs. Vishal desk manager is super helpful and caring. Our flight was on 7pm and they allowed late checkout. ||I m an highly recommended this hotel for family or friends, who want to visit golden temple. Pl note temple is few steps away and easy for darshan anytime.

As a woman traveler, I did not feel comfortable during my stay at this hotel. I booked a Super Deluxe Room for Rs. 2200, expecting a higher level of comfort and space, only to find that it was identical in size and amenities to the Deluxe Room, which costs just Rs. 1300. When we raised this discrepancy, the hotel manager and a male staff member came into our room with a measuring tape, insisting on comparing room dimensions in a rather confrontational and uncomfortable manner. Their behavior felt invasive and unprofessional, especially in a private space like a guest room. I do appreciate that they allowed us an early check-in by two hours, but the overall experience was disappointing and left me feeling uneasy. I would not recommend this place to solo women travelers or anyone expecting respectful and transparent service.

Best part of this hotel is it's location. It's just 50 meters away from Sri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple). Jaliyanwala bagh is approximately 500 meters only. You need to park your vehicle on Saragari parking and take e-rickshaw to reach here. It will cost approximately 150 rupees. Rooms are small but clean. However their ACs are very small to maintain cooling in hot weather of Amritsar.

Very nice hotel, very comfortable room and beautiful roof top views of the Golden Temple and surroundings and a great yoga room. |Easy walking to the Golden Temple and all of Amritsar’s places of interest. Close to shopping and restaurants Highly recommend.

The Main thing is its location... Just 2 min walking distance from Gurudwara Sahib ji. Rooms and Amenities are good. I especially love their near and clean bathrooms.
