OYO 1476 Hotel Gajapati

We are booked Stand Room . Standard Room was horrible. Then they upgraded us to Delux room due to low occupancy during my stay. Delux room (#103)also have leakage from the toilet ceiling. They don't provide Dental kit , shaving kit, wifi was not working in side the room. Made several complaints but they don't listen. They provide complimentary drinking water ( actually tap water) Restaurant menu are fixed. As a guest you have to follow their menu. If you book this hotel You have to compromise with them. We stayed in Gajapati in 2015 also. Drastically detoriated . Not good for family. Staff are good. They are polite . Management are not serious about their Guest. Booking throw MakeMyTrip.

We were staying near hotel gajapati. Dining at this place was horrible. Manager Laltu pal was so bad at managing things. Their staff arjun in front of me opened his shoes with his hand and later was seen cutting onion in kitchen. Hygiene is compromised a lot. Very dirty. and please the images attached. You will realise how much oil they use in curries. BAHOT BAHOT DIRTY AND UNHYGIENIC FOOD HAI HOTEL GAJAPATI KA. DONT STAY HERE. AND DONT DINE HERE. LALTU PAL IS ALSO VERY NON RESPONSIBLE PERSON. I TOLD HIM THE SITUATION , HE SAID SORRY AND TOLD ME I CANT DO ANYTHING ELSE.

Ground floor rooms have no geyser, no TV. They don't clean the room everyday. It is 300 mtrs. from sea beach.

So so. The rooms are small but cozy and comfortable. Good for the short term stay. Please check room locks.

Rooms in this hotel are worst foul smell is coming from every wall and furnitures are very old . Insects are also available in bathroom. Floor and wall completely damped....

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He helped us for our travel and local sight seeing. The room I stayed was ok. There was termites I think all the time there was wooden powder in floor and in drawers. Housekeeping was not cleaning the room and bathroom properly. Night Receptionist had an attitude of different level, we had already paid for extra bed but he asked again for extra bed, because it was late nite so I paid the extra bed charges just to get the bed. But in morning I got the refund back. There was some communication gap or understanding gap between hotel staff. Overall expirence was average

Worst hotel in puri. Rooms are very small. Service staff is pathetic. Makemytrip and online reviews are responsible for ruining your holiday. They advertise something but the reality turns out to be something totally different. Never book online but check many hotels before booking. Nowadays puri is full of such scam hotels who only want to scam you and take your money in every way possible. If in doubt then book online for a day and then change the hotel if unsatisfied after arriving at your destination.
