Hotel Kalinga

I recently stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed with the service at their restaurant. When we booked, we were informed that the restaurant would be open until 11:30 pm. Based on this information, we placed our order well before 11 pm. However, despite waiting for a response, we received none, and our order was never fulfilled. To make matters worse, around midnight, I received a message asking for feedback on the service, which we never even got to experience. It was frustrating and disappointing to be misled about the restaurant’s availability and then be ignored after placing our order. This lack of communication and poor service is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that claims to offer quality hospitality. I hope this hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves their service standards, especially with respect to accurate information and reliable customer service.

We booked two deluxe rooms, each with an extra guests with additional charges, but the experience was extremely disappointing. We strongly advise against booking this hotel. Here’s why: 1. Basic toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and towels were not provided—you had to request everything. 2. Only half a liter of bottled water was complimentary; additional bottles were charged. 3. While one room had an extra sofa cum bed, the other did not and was much smaller. One room had a fridge, while the other did not. The price they charge is not justified at all. Photos are attached for reference.

Location is good. Rooms aren't. Reception guy is rude with all the customers and doesn't acknowledge anyone's requests. He just say things are as they are and he can't help out with anything. Not at all helpful. The security guard uncle on the other hand is a lot helpful and helped with our luggage and getting us into the covered area when it was raining. Beds are very short and can't accomodate a tall person. Only pro about this property is they have a rooftop bar cum restaurant with good prices.

1. Room was clean 2. Reached around 4AM, reception was available 3. Morning breakfast was delicious 4. Ample amount of parking space 5. Checkout procedure was simple and accpeted Cash, gpay and card as well Overwall wonderful short experience.

Close to Railway station. Good location. Staff are courteous. Breakfast was good. Overall this hotel is good. It's my visit to Indore and my experience with this hotel is satisfactory.

Hotel is very awesome to stay it's like home. Dinner lunch and breakfast is so lavish. Whenever I will come to Indore I will stay in Kalinga forever
