Situated very nearby to Madikeri Centre, Pheasant Inn is quite place to spend your time in Coorg, we have stayed here for 3 nights, Mr. Nanjappa and his father were top notch for their hospitality and their guidance to local tour were spot on, would highly recommend for family stay about 6 - 7 people

A very neatly maintained stay. Every detail was looked into and the location where it is situated is very peaceful and filled with green. The hosts are very warm and welcoming.

Three nights were spent with family (four adults and one child). The ground level was occupied by the owner's family. We were assisted in washing our vehicle and preheating our Akki Rotti by the father of Nanjappa:) Mr. Nanjappa was helpful in recommending to us a nice hotel for dining and nearby attractions in Madikeri. Much appericated! This is actually a 1-bedroom house can accommodate for 4 to 5 people. The bedroom has a king-size bed with an adjoining western bathroom, in hall they have two king-size beds & Sofa and Kitchen with dishes, a kettle, mugs and glasses. Indian toilet are in the kitchen, however due to space constraints, only children can use. Thus, the master BHK's bathroom must be used by everyone. (Hot water available around-the-clock) We moved the sofa around to make it more comfortable because the way they had it set up in the hallway was uncomfortable. We kept one in the bedroom and a long sofa close to the door for easy access. Within City limit, Swiggy / Zomato are easily accessible but 7.30pm is the cut-off timing to order. To Mr. Nanjappa, It would be a lovely addition if you could think about offering free hot beverages in the morning, such as coffee and milk. We asked to bring coffee only in the morning as you were the one who suggested for it. But I was surprised to see that you charged 150 rupees for two days.

It is a good place for a small stay but i felt like there are too many beds in a small place actually it is a small house with one hall one kitchen and a bedroom all the 3 places are filled with bed and cots 1 bed in kitchen so kitchen is full with little amount of walking space, bedroom has 2 beds attached with a bathroom there was sufficient space to walk around, the hall has 2 king-size bed and two sofa so only your leg can pass around the walking area.. we felt bit cramped but the view was awesome also it is a peaceful place to enjoy the climate. The caretaker of the room is very caring he served us hot drinks without charging us anything he is staying in a room right below the room which we booked. If your want anything you can ask the caretaker he will help you out also the owner is very kind he guided us with the places to visit and he made arrangements for transportation to the view points, he gave us the wide variety of food menu but since we went outside we finished out dinner there. Atlast it is a good place to spend your time with your friends or family.... It felt like we are in our relatives house 😍 so dont expect it to be a costly hotel room but it is a nice secured place for you small stays.

We loved our stay at The Pheasant Inn. The owner of the house Mr. Nanjappa helped us settle in. He was very welcoming and made us feel home. His hospitality is commendable. I would highly recommend this homestay for a pleasant experience.

This place was located 2.4kms from the madkeri bustop, surrounded by forests and it is just the right place to go if you want to get away from the busy main city. They have enough place to accommodate a minimum of 8 people. The owner and caretaker are really good and helpful.

The owner is nice and friendly. But the place is very congested and not at all suitable if you are looking for a comfortable stay. The building is spacious but they have divided it into 3 part making it very uncomfortable. The photos are a little misleading. Wouldn't recommend.

It is a very good place to stay. The owner is very polite and friendly, he even suggested some good places to look in Coorg.
