Avoid This Hotel – Worst Experience Ever! I had an extremely disappointing stay at Hotel Siama, Chinar bagh, Srinagar, during a tour hosted by Caravan Travels, Iritty, Kerala. This hotel is a nightmare in every aspect—poor facilities, unhygienic conditions, and unprofessional service. No Hot Water & Electricity Issues: They deliberately switch off the power, forcing guests to rely on an inverter, which means no electric kettle or heating blankets when needed. Terrible Hygiene: The toilets were filthy and smelled horrible, even after requesting cleaning. Basic amenities like towels, soap, and drinking water had to be asked for repeatedly. Unhygienic Food & Health Issues: The food quality was so bad that many in our group fell sick. The dining area and kitchen seemed poorly maintained. Clumsy & Uncomfortable Stay: The hotel has no lift, making it inconvenient for travelers, especially the elderly. Most rooms were shabby, with old and worn-out furnishings, except for a few premium ones. No Mirror & No TV in the Room: Basic facilities were missing—no mirror and no TV in the rooms, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. Rude & Unprofessional Staff: The service was appalling—staff behaved rudely, refused to assist, and even threw a water bottle when we requested one! When we asked for anything, the service person would murmur under his breath, showing a complete lack of professionalism. It seems they are not properly compensated, which reflects in their attitude. However, the manager and owner were cooperative and tried to address our concerns. Unfortunately, the overall condition of the hotel still made our stay very uncomfortable. Caravan Travels should reconsider booking their guests into such substandard accommodations. Think twice before choosing this hotel—it’s a complete disaster! Rating 1/10**

Awesome and mesmerizing place to stay. All the staff are very polite and cooperative. Food was delicious and served hot. The location is amazing that you want to explore. Value for money

The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we comfortable nothing was to much trouble rooms were spacious and spotless with great decor and crsip bed sheets the breakfast buffet was delicious with a huge variety of options the location is just perfect for a walk around the city centers

They are scammers, I was booked 4 months back by Make My trip but when reach on property they denied to check in. When denied then what is the meaning of advance booking. I strongly suggest not to book this hotel in any circumstances, if you book then they denied and you will be on road with family. As I was. So decision is yours.

Friendly staff, good guestrooms, clean & unique.Have a good stay in the hotel as the staff service is attentive and responsive. I think my experience this is amazing hotel in Kashmir

The Rooms are good but staff is very Rude they do not acknowledge online bookings had booked room from Goibibo he said that the price they give him is to less told me cancel the booking and book with them at a higher rate...they also do not have AC or TV in any of the rooms
