Hotel Green Rooms, Vintage Luxury near Dal Lake

Three of us (family) stayed here for a few days. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and pleasing. The bath rooms were clean. The restaurant serves excellent food -- truly excellent. We are vegetarians and there was a considerable vegetarian spread for the breakfast-buffet, and an equally good variety on the menu for other meals. The staff were always courteous, helpful, and pleasant. Overall, our stay in the hotel was memorable.

Stayed at the hotel on a group tour, for three nights. It was a pleasant experience I would say. A few of our group members had the opinion that the rooms were too small, but we felt it was quite right for a tourist hotel. But the bathroom could have been a bit larger. The most impressive thing I felt about the hotel was the behaviour and service of the staff. It was exemplary. Keep it up. Food was good. There too the staff were very meticulous and courteous. They even asked for our opinion to decide the next day's menu. Overall it was a nice experience. We were on a package and were happy. But the rates shown here are too high for the class. Check with them.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in in our Kashmir trip. Ubaid made sure our stay at hotel smooth and helped us with all food and dining requests. Rooms are good and tidy. Washroom was clean. Amenities were fine. My overall experience had been great. Kudos to the staffs and management ❤️. Highly appreciated 👍

Very helpful and politely spoken guys at Reception. They arranged convertible plug for charging my phone. Also printed my boarding pass. First area to knock if you have any kind of issue is always the Reception. They will solve it. Very very great service and warm staffs. Food is great. We had a really nice food here. Any problem related to hotel and food is solved instantly 5 min walk to Khayam street where one can enjoy street foods.

I recently stayed at Hotel Green Rooms and had a fantastic experience. The room was impeccably maintained, providing a clean and comfortable atmosphere for my stay. The service was excellent, with staff always ready to assist. A special shoutout to the receptionist, Omar, whose friendly demeanor and attentiveness made a significant difference in my visit. Hotel rooms are good and spacious. We had bookd 3 rooms and they upgraded 2 of them to suites which was a nice gesture. Their premium rooms are also very spacious, gives a feeling of suite. However, the room service is poor with only one person serving through the night the response time is way too slow. And they don’t even answer phones in the morning- which is really annoying. Also what I did not like is that they strictly give 2 water bottles a day in each room. Given the price and grade of the hotel they should avoid being cheapskate and stop charging for extra water bottles.

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Kashmir. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff at the reception and the restaurant is polite and well mannered. I liked how they ask for permission to enter the room after you open the door. At the restaurant, we were serviced by Uphaid, who was polite and provides us good service. With respect to the food, I have mixed feelings. Breakfast was included in our package and we had a buffet for dinner. Some of the dishes were well cooked, but some could have been better. I've given 3 stars for the location, since the restaurant is a bit on the inside and there are no street lights on the main road that leads to it. I realise that this isn't necessarily something the restaurant can fix, but it does impact the experience. Overall, this was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend it or try it again the next time I visit.
