Hotel Taimoor khayam near khyber Hospital

I have been to Srinagar twice with my friends. First time in October 2011, and Second time we had been to Srinagar 2012 we stayed in Taimoor. This hotel is very good in hospitality/food/cleanliness and reasonable the owner is very friendly. He is very genuine guy who take cares of you well and organizes your trip very well in and around Kashmir. The hotel makes you feel that you are at home. We had awesome experience staying in Taimoor. Also he took us to the local places that it is the best part. We went as tourists but now we have a friend in Kashmir. I will recommend to all my friends to stay in Taimoor.

The planning done for the trip was very good. Our family likes it very much. This will always be a very memorable trip.

As much as Kashmir is known as a paradise on earth, I must say, without hotel Taimoor, the owner and his staff I would not have experienced this place to its fullest, not once, but twice.||From breakfast to dinner, places to visit and transportation arrangements, the owner took personal interest in ensuring we got the best. He provided good references and a contact in every place we visited and inquired, from time to time, about our well-being.||||He introduced us to Kashmiri specialties in food, made us try wazwan in at least 2 best places, and one of its kind kebabs. He showed us known and trusted shops for leather jackets and dress material. He drove us to the local market and helped select the best spices and dry fruits.||||Last but not the least, the hotel rooms are well maintained, well-furnished to give warmth and comfort. I recommend Hotel Taimoor. If you are planning a visit to Kashmir, Shabir - the owner is your man.

I was in Kashmir first in winter 2010 and after meeting Prem on the way from Jammu I decided to take a look at Hotel Taimoor. I had only planned to stay in Srinigar a few days but I ended up staying in the hotel for over a month. The hotel itself is fantastic and its location is in a very interesting part of town. ||||Imtiyaz and Prem are fantastic people. They are honest and very helpful if you need advice on what to do and what to avoid when you're in Kashmir. Thank you guys, looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
