I booked two deluxe double bedrooms on 28 March at Hotel Irshad, for a stay from 29 May to 1 June through MakeMyTrip. I made this booking two months in advance and planned many things during this time. When we arrived to check in, the hotel owner, Irshad Ahmed, took us to a small house where a family lived. There were two small rooms there. I told him that I had booked two deluxe double bedrooms in the hotel, not these small rooms. He said he couldn't give us the deluxe rooms because the rate had changed since we booked. He demanded ₹400 extra per person per night for the deluxe rooms. I explained that we booked online and the rate should be honored, but he refused. After arguing for a while, we had no choice but to stay. Our plans were ruined, and our trip was completely spoiled due to not getting the rooms we had booked. Final Conclusion: Do not book Hotel Irshad online through makemytrip. Otherwise you will get cheated.
