The TreePie Corbett

TreePie Corbett is located inside the Chhoti Haldwani village built by Jim Corbett. In fact the land was granted by him to the ancestors of the present owner Rakesh Belwal. The property sits on a large piece of land covered by trees. Rooms are large and well appointed. The owner personally overlooks the facilities provided, and ensures that the guests have a pleasant stay. He provided the food of our choice, and is a very knowledgeable guide on Jim Corbett's life and times. He also arranges Heritage walks through the village touching the points associated with Corbett. On the whole it's the best place to stay in Kaladhungi.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and welcoming homestay. Traveling with both our family and our dog can sometimes be a challenge, but this place was incredibly pet- and family-friendly. The hosts were warm, accommodating, and genuinely made us feel at home. The house was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged — plenty of space for our kids to play and for our dog to feel comfortable. There was even a secure outdoor area where our dog could roam freely, which was a huge bonus. The location was peaceful yet conveniently close to local attractions and shops. We loved starting our mornings with a cup of coffee on the porch, listening to birdsong and watching the sun come up. The hosts also gave us great local tips on family- and pet-friendly spots nearby. Overall, we had a relaxing and memorable time. Highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with their loved ones — furry ones included!

Amazing experience at the resort. Very peaceful and great hospitality. The food was really great and the mango and litchi fruits direct from the tree which was there in the property was an experience in itself. Next time would be staying here instead of jam packed and over priced nainital.

This property is truly amazing and surprisingly budget-friendly. The highlight of our stay at Tree Pie was undoubtedly the host—exceptionally kind and incredibly knowledgeable. The hospitality was top-notch, making us feel completely at home. Even the food had that comforting, homemade taste. We’re already looking forward to visiting again soon!

Great place to enjoy weekend with friends and family. Kids will love this place. Garden and green area is well maintained. Place is quiet as this is situated at end of street so no traffic or passerby etc. Rooms are very clean with all necessary facilities such as electric kettle, AC, soap, towel, etc. Hotel owner and staff is very helpful they will never say no to anything, you just wish and they will provide you. Corbett waterfall is nearby (15 minutes of drive).

Came here for a weekend getaway and ended up extending my stay! The Treepie is close to the Kosi river, has amazing sunrise views, and is surrounded by lush greenery. It’s one of the best offbeat homestays in Uttarakhand.

Nice location full of garden, mango plants, licchi plants etc, Kids really enjoyed the trip. Lovely staff who really take care of guests. Overall very nice experience
