在这个地方真的是非常好的，像张艺谋拍那个电影《山楂树之恋》嘛，那都是没第二个选择的，隔那么远剧组都住到这里了，在当地是最好的酒店了，和政府都挨着的，位置挺好的呀，各方面设施都很不错的呀，他在那里算是中心的，周围的餐饮娱乐都有的，出去办事情呀购物呀都在门口的。服务很好，这个也不好说，主要是我朋友他亲戚开的，不知道是不是因为这样才对我好呢就不知道了。装修挺好的，房间空间还可以，比较大，我去的时候被单呀拖鞋呀都挺新的。

We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. It's not like a 4-star hotel at all. The rooms smelled bad and we found a mosquito in our room, while my parents had a large spider in theirs. Also, do not eat in the restaurants. Both restaurants on the second and third floors also have a bad smell. The breakfast buffet didn't have any decent food or drinks. There wasn't any coffee or juice and you can't even get a piece of bread for toast. For a good meal, I recommend the Three Gorges Project Hotel instead.||||On the plus, the location is not bad. It's not too far from the Three Gorges Dam or the scenic area (San Xian Ren Jia). I highly recommend a drive along the Xiling Gorge nearby. however, we will not stay in the Golden Lion Hotel again.

房间价格蛮合理的，当时是去旅游，订的是一个4星级，房间的规格、尺寸就四星级的酒店来说我觉得这是住过的最好的了，环境设施都很好，大厅摆设有盆景、画社、茶花，环境很优雅，在哪里旅游都看不到有这么多的东西，布置的都非常的好，酒店的门口的环境就像花园一样，空气也很好，非常安静、舒适，基本上是无可挑剔。

We were a bit worried about having booked this hotel as the very last review stated that it had now closed. However we were assured by Agoda that it was open and I now wonder why nobody else has reviewed it.||||We booked this hotel for a night after our Yangtse trip and although it is quite far from the city centre, given that the taxi fares are pretty cheap it worked out well although it was further from the Yichang East Railway Station than I would have liked (my fault as I got the station mixed up and not the hotel's fault in any way). Very close to the main area of Xiling district with it's shops, eateries etc.||||I must say we were very impressed with the room - far exceeded our expectations and appeared to have been completely renovated - huge beds, brilliant bathroom - more like a 4 or 5 star hotel and not what we had expected given the price we paid (I think it was around $30). Very friendly staff who speak relatively good English.||||I would recommend this hotel.

My wife and me had a nice stay here. Definitely it was the best hotel in Xiaoxita, the main area of Yichang's Yiling District. The rooms were nice and internet was free. ||||Unfortunately the staff was not fluent in English.||||Breakfast was not really Western but fine with the basics.||||Unfortunately the hotel was closed for renovation in March 2012. The owner had the plan to extend the hotel and build another building. Unfortunately he got into some trouble and ran away with the money he borrowed from the bank. local people say he tried to escape to Canad but was caught by police in China's Yunnan Province. ||||As I saw recently the new building's construction has started again but it is not sure when the Golden Lion will reopen.

This should not be ranked No. 4! The outside was dirty and the lobby was gloomy and shabby. Was disappointed at the funny smell and cleanliness, the moment we walked in. No one spoke English so was lucky that someone in our group could speak to them in Mandarin. At the room across from ours, we visited my family's room and there was a mosquito flying around. Then we we returned to our room, there was a large spider in our bathroom. When my husband went to kill it, he broke a cup he had in his hand. Finally at the end of our 2 nights' stay, we went to pay the bill and they charged us for the cup! Nothing about the cleanliness of our rooms with the insects. Too disappointed with the staff's handling of things and definitely would not recommend anyone staying here. Price was too high for the quality of this hotel! Two nights was too long. Ranking is far too high for No. 4 which is a bad number in Chinese anyway.

酒店的价格是标价，但是你来了还可以协商，这是其一，其二的话酒店新装潢的，条件是最新的，属于中等偏上的。卫生、服务没有问题，它是政府接待部门接待机构，因为我本身就是政府人员。兼做饮食餐饮、娱乐的，一至四层是这个，四层以上都是住宿。交通很方便，有一个很大的停车场，就在政府旁边。

住宿条件比较好，硬件配置也比较好，就势餐厅较差，太自我了，饭菜基本上全是辣的，而且提供的主食多是米饭、蛋炒饭，面食类很少。位于夷陵区，距离市中心很远，酒店距黄柏河比较近，周围没有可以转的地方。距离东站打车最少50元，需30分钟
