They gave us an useful advice i.e. where to get a permit before driving into the three gorges' restricted area. Without that we could have been 'mugged' by the local gangsters who set up a road block at a country road and tried to charge a double fee for the same permit. The hotel's decoration was outdated with a bit like 1980's style. It really needed an upgrading.
