雅汀舍丽花园酒店

A group of 15 of us stayed at Lhasa Jardin Hotel for two nights on 5th and 6th June and again on 8th June 2018. On arrival around 1230 hrs on the 5th, we were welcomed by young ladies who garlanded us with silky white shawls around our necks as is the Tibetan custom of welcome. We sat in the well decorated lobby and enjoyed its ambience while our tour guide checked us in. Our luggage was brought to our rooms on the second floor. The room was pleasant, clean and large, with a king size bed, a small writing desk and a sofa, TV, kettle and complimentary tea/coffee and two bottles of water. The bathroom was sparkling white and clean with a shower and a bathtub. The towels were white and clean too. I saw my first oxygen machine that caters to those who found it difficult to breathe due to the 12000 ft high altitude in Lhasa. There is a little supermarket about 30 metres down the road where you could get your basic requirements including beer and spirits.||Since nobody at the reception could speak English, we could only communicate with gestures and a few words. The staff, even with this limitation, were very accommodating and tried hard to please and assist their guests. They would at times ask you to type your needs into their mobile phones. Their app would then translate your requirements! Quite ingenious!! Perhaps the management could consider providing at least one person who could speak some English to the reception team so that the guests would feel more welcome!||The breakfast was very good with a wide spread of Asian and western dishes. We could get omelettes, fried or boiled eggs, cold cuts, a wide variety of fruits, pastries and breads, toasts, bacon, sausages as well as a spread of Chinese / Tibetan veggies and dishes. Breakfast was good!!||All in all, our stay at Lhasa Jardin Hotel was pleasant and enjoyable.

We were booked into this hotel by China Focus Travel, out of San Francisco. It seems the consensus is that this is a decent four star hotel, a conclusion with which I cannot disagree. But, our room was clean, spacious and well equipped. We received a fine breakfast at the hotel, and all of our other meals were on the road. Other reviews fault the hotel for its location, but we were always in a van when leaving the hotel, so that was no problem for us. Maybe it isn't the flashiest, but cleanliness, a reasonable amount of space, and the oxygen machine are all you could ask for in Lhasa. I am a senior, and have spent thousands of nights in hotels and motels, and this is my first oxygen machine. Wifi was spotty, best in the lobby, but you got you two bottles of water, a nice,clean tub/shower, and a clean bed. Another plus is the 110 electricity, allowing us to easily charge phones and to use hair dryer. Can't ask for anything more. We would be pleased to stay here again, if we ever get to Lhasa again.

We were assigned to this hotel with our group...the hotel was very nice but a distance away from anything and it is frowned upon to walk around unless with your group. The outside of the hotel is very plain and can be misleading.The lobby and grounds were clean and nicely decorated. The rooms were comfortable but extremely basic. Water was available in the room and if necessary, you could ask for more at no charge. The people at the front desk spoke limited English but they tried very hard to assist you in any way possible. They would actually ask you to type it into their cell phone which would translate...very clever! We had a storm while there and the power went out for some time but they were still able to serve a nice breakfast. The buffet breakfast offered a large variety of eggs to order, waffles, pastry, toast, yogurt , cereals, western and eastern dishes and wonderful fresh fruit. The internet was good but all over China certain sites we are used to using...google, facebook, twitter etc are banned. This is a very comfortable hotel that is working to be a 5 star but isn't quite there yet.

We were hampered by the hotel staff's complete ignorance of English. Even a question such as "How many rooms in this hotel?" was not understood. My guess is 125. A city hotel with no view or swimming pool or anything of the sort. Large public areas. Spacious rooms. Bottled water and tea-bags complimentary, but no spoons or sugar ! A fairly good breakfast spread. With so many non-Chinese tourists visiting Lhasa, the hotel star-rating should take into account some knowledge of English or any other European language on the part of the front-line staff.||||Travellers should well remember that one has to carry his bags for about half a kilo-meter or more without any porter assistance or baggage trolley in order to enter the train station. This is a common disadvantage at all the train stations in China. Excessive security consciousness. At the Lhasa station, a toilet spray that I had carried in two Chinese flights was confiscated !

我们因酒店工作人员完全不懂英语而受到阻碍。甚至诸如“这家酒店有多少间房间？”之类的问题。不被理解。我猜是 125。一个城市酒店，没有风景，没有游泳池或任何类似的东西。大型公共区域。宽敞的房间。免费瓶装水和茶包，但没有勺子或糖！相当不错的早餐。由于访问拉萨的非中国游客众多，酒店星级评定应考虑到一线工作人员的英语或任何其他欧洲语言的知识。||||旅客应牢记，必须在没有搬运工协助或行李推车的情况下，他背着行李走了大约半公里或更远才能进入火车站。这是中国所有火车站的通病。安全意识过强。在拉萨车站，我在两趟中国航班上携带的厕所喷雾被没收了！

It's very clean and comfortable hotel. The breakfast is very good and staffs and crews are friendly. This hotel room are clean and have a very nice bed. But it's quite far from old City. but you can easily get the local bus or taxi easily to Potala palace or Old Lhasa city.

春节期间带着父母来到拉萨旅游，在携程上预定了雅汀舍丽酒店的住宿。春节期间的拉萨，游人不多，酒店的入住率大概也只有30%-40%，前台只有一个工作人员，显得很冷清。但是这里的住宿体验给我留下了很好的印象，早餐非常丰富，服务也很好，每个房间还赠送一小瓶氧气，但是位置稍微偏僻了一些，去布达拉宫或八廓街都有30分钟的车程，但是离酒店不远处就有公交车站，还算方便。可能赶上假期，酒店周围的饭馆营业的很少，吃了两天拉面。

离市区稍远，离火车站比较近，服务很好。是个花园酒店，夏天的环境很好，还有小溪，像江南的风光。早餐也很好，品种也很齐全，特别特别的丰富。房间的设施也齐全，哪怕是在冬天也没什么可挑剔的了，设施也很新，都是按照五星级标准配备的。淡季的价格要便宜些，旺季价格要高些。打车到布达拉宫也就10块钱，公交车也有。酒店外观比较大气，是灰颜色的。服务很不错的，我们是大年三十入住的，很有人文关怀的，免费邀请客人在一起吃饭，还有水果，瓜子什么，还送了红酒，感觉很不错的。

The hotel from the outside didn't meet my expectations, however the inside is ok, The rooms were very comfortable, they have very nice beds and spacious rooms. The safety box in our room was broken. The buffet breakfast has a good variety of things. The Internet is free although a lot of the webpages don't enter, it was impossible for me to access Google, Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, Tweeter. I could only use hotmail, bing and my whatsapp account which is due to the strong repression and blockage that the Chinese government has over its territory.||The hotel is away from potala palace, however it only would take you 10 minutes in a cab to get there,is not a big inconvenience.

酒店从外面看没有达到我的期望，但是里面还可以，房间很舒服，有很好的床和宽敞的房间。我们房间的保险箱坏了。自助早餐品种很丰富。互联网是免费的，尽管很多网页无法进入，我无法访问Google、Gmail、Facebook、Instagram、Tweeter。由于中国政府对其领土的强力镇压和封锁，我只能使用hotmail、bing和我的whatsapp帐户。 ||酒店远离布达拉宫，但打车只需10分钟到达那里，并没有什么大的不便。
