One of the oldest hotel, food will be served on banana leaves. We had gone for lunch and we ordered chapati, tomato Baath, vada and meals. Quantitywise it was sufficient and taste also OK ok. Hygienewise there should be improvement. Prices are economical

Highly recommend this hotel in Kollegala! Conveniently located just minutes away from the main bus stand. Their morning dosa spread is impressive, offering a wide variety of options and very economical. The hotel itself is a charming, old traditional house that adds to its charm. A tucked away, not far from the maid road to reach. This is worth a pilgrimage, you are a dosay (or Dosa as North Indian prefers to call) addict and connoisseur. Do not miss their Motor dosay. Don’t ask as to why it is called so. Uppittu & other dosays are also super. A definite visit place.

This place is located in the heart of kollegala town. Not much parking space for cars, there will be huge crowd sometimes waiting also. There was no idly when we went we took dosa and rice bath it was tasty the service was little slow as the person serving was single one was confused due to the crowd They serve the breakfast on plantain leaf chutney is also good, the place looks little bit old even the coffee was also good. One time visit recommended place. Give a try if you happen to drive through kollegala town For idly you have to reach the hotel early we went late so it was not available so no comments.

Operating since 1950, run by a family. Serves home made veg dishes. Breakfast was very good. Only chutney and no sambar. Tables and sitting fir about 20 persons . Owner is the chef and is worth the visit. Not too costly.

In case you are searching for a good place to have a meal, on your way to MM Hills or any other place, passing through Kollegala town, this is the ideal place to enjoy your break. We went there for breakfast, on our way to MM Hills. We had idlies, vadaes, masalae dosaes and their special - motor dosae, a unique dosae that’s inspired by aloo-paratha. The vadaes were super soft and crunchy from inside and the idlies were amazing. Needless to say that the dosaes were also very good. It was worth the pain taken to reach this place. We were so happy with our first experience that while on return from the hills, we went there for the evening dosaes with coffee. This time we even had Madduru vadaes which were also equally good. The prices of the items were not too costly.

If you ever visit Kollegala i highly recommend this place for breakfast, I tried almost all the items of their menu and they are bang on in taste and quality. Going from Bangalore i had very less expectations on taste, but this place is really authentic, unique and delicacy of its own. The service is good, staff are courteous, the ambience is so organic and natural absolutely loved it. Must try here are the variety of Dosa's they offer. Motor dosa was unique. But I loved Roast dosa.

Unique hotel for breakfast in Kollegal. First thing is they have maintained cleanliness and serve hygiene food. They have their variety of South Indian breakfast dishes and their special motor dosey is a must try.
