Vythiri Wild Resort, Wayanad resort

It was a pleasant experience staying at this place..and if u plan on getting ur pet along (they don’t add any pet charges) we loved everything about the place and the rooms were very clean and cozy and made us feel very comfortable...staff were so friendly and approachable…we were so happy bcz they let us have food at the dining area with our dog which probably no one else would have agreed to do so. The off road in the jeep is the best part. Worth every penny.

Though I booked rooms here at the last minute, The manager was very helpful, to reach the resort we had to take the jeep provided by the resort, as the route was off roads. It was arranged within a few mins, even when it was raining cats and dogs. Thank you. Rooms were okay, initially few amenities were not arranged as it was last minute booking plus it was raining, but on request everything was provided. The sleep quality was great, a very quiet place with a great view. We enjoyed our morning at the steam nearby ☺. Overall I had an awesome stay!

It’s a nice place to visit with family & friends … loved the off roading to the resort & the view is breathtaking.. if you are nature lover … you will like this place … liked the hospitality of the staff… rooms are decent & food is homely ..

Nestled amidst lush greenery, the homestay offered a true escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.Our room was cozy and comfortable with a balcony view of nature. We enjoyed nature walk and off road Jeep riding.

The resort is situated within kerala forest division and hence gives forest vibes, its peaceful and quiet. A stream flows nearby which adds to the beauty. Since it is located in the forest you have to go offroad quite a distance and they arrange their jeeps for it, but the path is absolutely rugged. Misty mornings and cool nights are a good experience here. Accessibilty is not good. However the service is just pathetic. The hotwater in our room was not working and we had to wait 1.5 hour after reaching to have a bath in hot water. Then we ordered dinner and again had to wait more than an hour for dinner to be ready. By then we were famished, finally around 9.45pm dinner was served. Next day again hot water was not available. After a long day of sightseeing we could not get a refreshing hot water bath. Nobody shows any responsibility. After paying about Rs. 3900 per day such kind of service is not acceptable. Even the rooms and beddings are not very clean. Overall not good. We wished many times that we had booked elsewhere.

We enjoyed the serene atmosphere, but the lack of activities like campfires and adventure sports was a disappointment. A decent stay, but room for improvement. 2/5 stars

Best place for staycation. Resort is a bit remote inside the forest. Road starts atleast a km away from the Resort. Traveling back to Wayanad Town and back is a pain if you don't commute in a SUV or cars that can handle multi terrains

The location is so relaxing, you can just settle down and enjoy the nature :)
