VYTHIRI VALLEY RESORT

Visited this resort for the independence day long weekend and stayed there for 2 nights. I took the deluxe room - it was clean and spacious, and the bathrooms looked brand new too. Ventilation is a bit of an issue as there was no AC.||Situated at a walking distance from Pookode lake (800m), the location is tranquil and excellent with great views of the nearby mountains.||Food was average - good on one occasion and not so good on the other. Service was also a bit slow. The manager was very courteous and could do with more staff to assist him.

Hostel type rooms are also available for tourists coming alone. It's about .6 km from pookode lake. A swimming pool facility is available, but they need to improve on its timings. Overall it's a perfect place for accommodation in the Vythiri area.

I had a good experience from this place. They have two option, capsule room and normal room. If you are a couple travelling together and you are travelling with a small budget then you can opt for the capsule room. In my opinion it's enough for 02 or 03 people. For a moderate price you will get a moderate room with good facilities and good service. Rooms are Cozy, comfortable, well cleaned/maintained. The staff are very nice with a helping mentality.

I wish we could give 6 stars. We had the best experience at this hotel! I experienced in high end customer service , and was blown away by the level of customer service and hospitality we received during every interaction with the staff. Neel very gracefully and thoughtfully welcomed us and assisted us throughout stay and provided the highest level of service during breakfast lunch and dinner. We were blown away by the attention to detail and anticipation of our needs that the staff possessed and we were so sad to leave! It is a beautiful and very clean hotel, steps from the breathtaking Duomo, and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

The resort has a nice pool but the rooms are small. It's a budget friendly stay. They provided breakfast which tasted good. They have few options in veg for dinner, so they need to work on that. Rest everything is fine about the place.

What a nice and welcoming place here! You are looking for a calm and peaceful place in the beautiful scenery of Wayanad? You want to enjoy delicious food and a great hospitality? Then you should definitely plan your stay here at the resort. The rooms are clean and comfortable, you can have much fun in (and around) the pool and you have very friendly and helpful staff around you. In addition to this, we got great and continuous assistance throughout our whole stay with everything by the manager Neil. If it was possible for him and his team, they made all our requests happen. And even if there was something, he always had a ear for us and figured something out. I really enjoyed the stay, thank you so much again for your great hospitality!

Service: During our stay, we encountered an issue with stained bedsheets. We requested a change as soon as we reached, but unfortunately, the sheets were never replaced but they turned it around. To make matters worse, the service staff was quite rude when we inquired about it at night. This really put a damper on our experience at the resort. Room: The room we stayed in had a strange layout that didn't seem worth the price we paid. On the plus side, the fittings and amenities appeared to be new, which was a small consolation. However, it wasn't enough to make up for the overall disappointment with the room. Breakfast: Breakfast options were quite limited, which was a letdown. On a positive note, when we asked for bread, the staff was able to provide it. Nonetheless, the limited options left much to be desired.

To get away from my hectic schedule we went on an impulsive trip to Wayanad and stayed at the resort. It was one of the best stays we have had in a long time. The hospitality itself is commendable. And the staffs went above and beyond to accommodate us in the most comfortable way. The property had this serenity which was exactly we were looking for. Would definitely recommend this to my peers.
