The grasmere resort offers a lovely retreat for nature lovers and people who need a relaxing silent ambience with all facilities. First of all its 💯 family friendly. Rooms are generally spacious with great balconies with valley views. We stayed here last year also. That time they maintain it like a top class. But, this time the bedsheets look somewhere old. And last time the infinity pool was also amazing. But, this time the pool wasn't maintained properly. The colour of water in the pool was not blue. So we didn't use it. Without these 2 little drawbacks , I'll give it a 5 star. The kitchen facility and restaurant is great. Not overpriced either. That tastes amazing. The staff were super friendly. We got a warm welcome 🤗 Giving 5 stars for all the good stuff.

Grasmere Resort sits deep inside a pepper plantation at hilltop altitude, reached only through narrow, dangerous bends. The property has about 10–12 duplex villas, each split into four units (two upstairs, two downstairs). Rooms face Thangalpara ridge, but interiors feel dated—old sofas and worn furniture. The highlight is the staff. Mostly very young boys from Assam and Kerala who respond instantly to calls. Service is attentive and earnest. Food is average, but considering how remote the location is, it’s acceptable. Parking space is sufficient. There’s also a mountain view deck pointing northeast toward Kurisumala, which offers a strong vantage point. The setting is scenic, but the resort itself could use refurbishment.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! The food was delicious, the pool was fantastic, and the overall ambience and vibe were absolutely stunning. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We visited as a family of four and had booked two rooms. One feature we really appreciated was the connecting door between the rooms, which allowed us to spend quality time together while still having our own space. However, one drawback we experienced was the allocation of rooms to a group of bachelors directly above us. Unfortunately, the noise from their rooms made it difficult for us to get proper sleep at night. We would strongly recommend that the management consider assigning rooms more thoughtfully—especially avoiding placing families and large bachelor groups in the same cottage or block. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would love to visit again with the hope of a more peaceful stay!

We recently stayed in the resort for a much needed break ,and we got an amazing experience that beyond our expectations. They provide a soothing comfortable stay .most liked the scenic tea plantation valley view. The hospitality was top notch ,the restaurant offered varieties of non vegetarians for us.Food was good and the service prompt. The service of staff were very courteous and that makes our stay comfortable And resort situated in a wonderful location nice view and we'll maintained resort. All the staff were very welcoming and pleasant through out our stay .

We have been to this resort expecting a pleasant stay but it turned out to be the worst experience. Pros: Only the view from room Cons: *Food service was too much slow. They are managing literally with one chef to cater quiet a crowd. * Room locks doesn't work, which is a major concern of safety * The bath tub was broken and fan speed controls just doesn't work. * Understaffed. They didn't even carry the luggage to Rooms or help to load it back in the vehicle. * The so called infinity pool is in worst condition. It literally turned to green colour. I am sure it breeds a lot of diseases along (caution: please stay away from their pool) * Food was over priced. Not At all worth the price we paid for low quality. Also the quantity was very less as per his charges. I am still wondering from which angle this resort is high rated. Final thoughts: If u want to have a stress free vacation, please avoid this resort.

Nice Property, But Poor Service and Misleading Communication The resort itself is well-maintained and has good potential. The property is attractive and has a peaceful vibe, which initially made us feel confident about our choice. Unfortunately, our experience was let down by poor service and disappointing staff behavior. We had booked two rooms by calling the number listed on Google Maps. During the call, we were clearly told that rooms would be arranged upstairs, which we preferred for better views and privacy. However, when we reached the property, we were informed that the upstairs rooms were under renovation and not available. There was no prior communication about this change, and the staff showed no effort to accommodate us or offer a proper explanation. The attitude was careless and unprofessional. For a resort that looks good on the outside, the lack of transparency and poor handling of guests is disappointing. A better experience could easily be provided with honest communication and improved staff training. If you’re considering staying here, just be cautious about what’s promised during booking versus what’s actually delivered

I recently stayed at this resort with Friends & Families with 7 families of 27 members. I must say the location is absolutely stunning. The lush greenery, serene surroundings, great rooms The natural beauty of the resort is its biggest strength. However, my experience wasn’t without its drawbacks. 1. The biggest disappointment was the food. There’s only one chef managing the entire kitchen, which meant long wait times and a very limited menu. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't make up for the wait — it was average at best, and certainly not up to the standard you’d expect from a place like this. 2. No one serves the food, we had to do by ourselves and even getting spoons, forks or any cutlery including the plates. 2. Worst maintenance of the swimming pool. It is Green in color & when asked the staff says the PH value is good.You can't even see the tile color under the water & they are just pushing water. 3. Another issue was the checkout process. There was no one available to assist with bags nor helped our driver for the luggage. In summary, while the resort itself is a beautiful and tranquil place worth visiting for the scenery and atmosphere, the management really needs to improve the dining services and customer support, especially during checkout. With a few changes, this could easily become a top-tier destination.
