S Cross Munroe Island Resort

Our recent stay at SCross was very satisfactory. From the moment we entered the property we were overcome with a sense of peace and tranquility because of the location. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well. We stayed at a villa and deluxe suite. Both the rooms were clean, spacious and functional. They had fun activities like kayaking and boat rides which were organized by reception at request. They were very resourceful to every needs of ours. They organized rides for us as well. The property location itself is serene and tucked away from the traffic noises with a peaceful ambiance which made the stay more memorable. Highly recommend this spot for a quiet getaway.

The property is conveniently located right at the centre of munroe islands. rooms were relatively new. Only 5 rooms are available with 3 normal rooms and 2 cottages. Location, ambience and rooms are good. The restraunt however needs a bit of improvement with respect to quality of food and service quality. Food is by no means bad but not justifiable by the cost being paid or mediocre. But service needs to improve a lot.

We had a peaceful and romantic honeymoon at Scross Munroe Resort. The serene backwaters, lush greenery, and gentle rain made it a perfect escape. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was clean with a lovely view. The boat ride through Munroe Island was a highlight—calm and unforgettable. We had taken cycle ride to explore the site it gave wonderful vibes...The kayakking was so good as there were staffs to even teach us how to kayak! It was a wonderful experience It was the perfect place to relax, connect, and begin our journey together. Highly recommended for couples looking for a nature-filled, quiet getaway.

Very good experience and views. The food and service is very good aswell. Tom from the property has taken very good care of us. His eye for details aswell as well as ensuring each one of us was comfortable made the experience even better.

A good hotel at a great location near S Valavu, Munroethuruth. It is a new hotel with good facilities. Breakfast was good but food (chappathi) could be made better.

Really good resort, located at a good location with scenic view. Kayaking and pedal boating available within the resort. Friendly and professional staffs. Restaurant in the property is also nice, really good food. Would recommend for a laid back trip with family and friends.

I stayed at Scross Munroe Island Resorts from 30th Aug (2 PM check-in) to 31st Aug (12 Noon check-out) in their Super Deluxe Villa, and the experience was excellent. The villa is newly built with modern amenities — balcony, private parking, bathtub, Jaquar bath fittings, and touch panels for lights and fans. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed. One small heads-up for future guests: the bedside charging point is USB-C only, so iPhone users should carry the right converter/cable. Not a dealbreaker, but good to know. The service was outstanding. The chef is fantastic — if you share your preferences in advance, he’ll customize meals exactly to your taste. The room service was prompt and impeccable. A big plus is the location — the boating jetty for canoe tours is hardly a 1-minute drive or 5-minute walk from the resort, making it super convenient to enjoy backwater activities. Definitely worth trying. Overall, this is a great property with warm hospitality, modern comforts, and an unbeatable setting. Absolutely deserving of 5 stars.
