Rainforest Munnar Resort

A Perfect Pet-Friendly Getaway in Munnar! We stayed at this beautiful resort in Munnar for 3 days, and it turned out to be one of our most memorable holidays – especially because it was our first time travelling with our dogs. We were a bit skeptical initially, unsure of how the pets would adapt, but all our worries vanished the moment we arrived. The location of the resort is simply superb – nestled far from the maddening crowd, surrounded by serene nature and tranquility. It's exactly the kind of peaceful retreat we were looking for. Our heartfelt thanks to Hari, who gave us such a warm welcome and went out of his way to ensure both we and our dogs had a comfortable stay there. While the network connectivity is poor (which could be a downside for some), it actually helped us unplug and fully immerse ourselves in the experience – and honestly, it was totally worth it. The food was consistently good throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Chef Muhammed, who treated us on the last day to his signature dish, Akka Chicken – a delicious surprise that we’ll remember! The only suggestion we’d make is to have a few more staff members, especially during peak season. At times, the service felt a bit stretched. All in all, a fantastic resort for anyone looking to unwind in nature – and an especially great find for pet owners. We’d definitely return to this resort.

Our stay was truly enjoyable. The hotel welcomed us warmly with a refreshing welcome tea, served high tea in the evening, and offered a delicious breakfast. The ambience is serene and inviting, with beautiful features.We were a group of 24 members.The rooms were Superb with all minutes, the food they served was delicious Mini mam and all other staffs helped us lot, We will visit again for sure.

We stayed here for 2 days with out furry kids and loved it. The rooms were clean enough, wont say like 5 star hotels though but worth it for the price. Food here is delayed a bit, we usually had to order an hour earlier and then when food was ready they used to call us. The taste was avarage. When we stayed here it was raining heavily for 2 days straight, so we stayed indoors mostly. Loved the ambience and surroundings. Good for people who love peace and quiet and enjoy nature. Surrounded by heavy forests, nested in the middle of clouds this place is a must go to for nature lovers.

Rainforest - Nature ... Nature... Nature.. Resort is located in the middle of the jungle and weather is always pleasant. You can feel the chill when you approaching this place from Munnar town. We stayed in 2bedroom cottage and nice. Staffs are very good, Sharoon, Tony and Bikas all were good and taking care each and everything. Food was little expensive and taste could have been better. Understand the staffs are new so the issue. But they tried their best to provide best food for us. One can plan for 2 days stay here and explore scenery nearby and anakulam elephant view point No need to goto any tourist attractions which is always crowded and hot as well. Anakulam elephant point is 23 km from resort and journey is superb with nice scenery. Roads are little narrow and provide adventurous feel too.

Overall, this resort is poorly managed, lacks basic hospitality standards, and fails to deliver on even the most fundamental expectations of comfort and cleanliness. I would not recommend rainforest to anyone. Hope the reviews done are fake think twice before you book this resort.We stayed there for our honeymoon, and the rooms were not clean. They didn’t change the pillow cover or bedsheet. The rooms were smelly, and the washbasin and toilet weren’t really clean. They need to keep more tissue paper in the room and toilet. We have to ask for tissue paper. When we ordered food from their restaurant, they didn’t provide spoons, and we had to ask for them again. That’s such an inconvenience. They need to keep everything in the room, like the tissue, spoons, and enough coffee powder and milk powder. and the room wasn’t clean enough according to what we paid.

I had the worst experience of a lifetime today with Rainforest resort munnar. I booked this property a month ago with full payment in advance through Cleartrip app. And 1 day before my trip I got to know that this hotel cannot provide me accomodation because the inventory is full. Are you serious!!!! If you had no rooms for a particular date then why did you confirm the booking in first place. Now at the last moment I have to book another hotel in double the original price. I will never recommend this place to anybody.

Letchmi Estate is possibly the best place in Munnar and Rainforest is aptly named and located such. Nice getaway place for solo travelers and family alike. Food service is top notch
