Anandavana Jungle Resort Kanthalloor-Marayur

The resort is located at a remote place and we can reach the resort only through their dedicated jeeps. we informed the resort people around 1.5 hours before we got to the parking location which is around 2 km far from the resort. we were 25 people with elders and small kids. but still they had only 1 jeep which could take max 6 people. they told it was weekend and hence could not hire any other jeeps.. so we had to wait in the parking lot for around 2 hours for everyone to reach the resort.. it take 20 to 25 min for one trip. Due to this the checkin was late... The rooms were all good and neat.. the igloo rooms had few insects here and there and it is because it is near the forest area... so no complaints on that.. the food was good and there is ample amount to play with family and especially for kids.. In advance itself we told them to arrange for more jeeps during the return.. still they did not do that.we had only one jeep and after the 1st trip the jeep broke down.. so few of us were stranded in the parking lot and few in the resort itself... I kept calling the owner of the resort but he did not pick up due to his personal reasons.. the staff had a very hard time to arrange for jeeps.. after 2 hours they got one jeep using which we came to the parking lot... due to this delay few of us missed our bus and train to go back to their respective places.. so the trip was known for this bad experience.. they own a big resort with 10 to 12 rooms... then atleast they should own 3 jeeps on their own.. or hire jeeps well in advance rather than making their guests suffer and incur losses and lose their peace of mind... if there is an emergency and if we need to go down then it is nearly impossible which is not good..

Remote area with the experience of offroad ride with adventure. On stay at property hearing the elephant trumpeting. Great experience of roaming in drizzling, scenic chilled climate inside the resort. Staffs are polite and friendly. Not advisable for those having Airtel sim only.

Awesome experience.. Staff and rooms was very good. But the WiFi was not working all time and no TV too. Location is good, but not in off season, want to reach there by Jeep, which will be provided by them. Feels very lonely..

We went as a team of 30 people. 1. Choose this place only if you want offbeat experiences. This is not for comfort seekers. 2. Rooms were good given they were not regular type. 3. I loved the atmosphere and no disturbances location. 3. Food was above average. They need certainly address poor lunch given as part of the package. 4. This place is good for group trips with friends, not sure if it suits family unless u look for such places. Personally I liked the place purely for the offbeat environment and different experiences it gave us.

An excellent location offering calm and quiet surroundings near a serene forest area. The MUD HOUSE experience is truly amazing, providing a natural and authentic feel. The food is delicious, reminiscent of homemade meals. The staff are very courteous and deserve appreciation for their excellent service and well organized facilities. Mr. Naju thanks for service.

Had the most amazing stay at Anandavan Jungle Resort! 🌿 We came as a family and experienced the beauty of living in pure nature. Very good ambience. Feels very close to nature. The manager Naju is a very nice guy who took care of everything at the right time. The stay was worth the price and comfortable. Amenities suitable for the climate is provided by the resort.

The experience was wonderful with excellent service, a cozy ambience, and incredibly delicious food that stood out the most. The comfortable stay made it even more memorable. Highly recommended.
