Anandavana Jungle Resort Kanthalloor-Marayur

Terrible experience. Property was far too away from the residential area. not even the Google map was showing the right lication. we wandered around for 2 hrs finding the place and had to ask the locals multiple times for directions. Not even the locals were aware about the place. Private vehicles are unable to reach the property and we had to relay on jeep (none of these things were mentioned earlier ) Place was deserted and we were the only gusts in the property other than 2 staff and poorly maintained propery with disgusting room and toilet. The young staff was evwn starring at us when ever we saw him. (not the jeep driver ) My wife started sneezing straight after we got in to the room. She had rashes all over her body and couldn't even stay for 30min. We shared oru experience with the reception and they told us they can arrange a refund. we left the place after 30min and found a better place for our stay. As expected they broke their promise and refused the refund. if your are planning a trip with family or kids please rethink. Will never recommend this place for anyone. terrible place terrible hospitality terrible service should be -10/10

Rooms could be well maintained, but ambience was good with lot of open space and well maintained gardens, ponds, sit-outs etc. Food menu needs to be taken care of and changed as food was not in acceptable state.

Only the ambience and atmosphere is great, climate is too chilling and off road ride also great through the jungle. Main negative is parking , they don't have any parking facility, we have to park on public road side. No safety for our vehicle, we have to park at our own risk. Other service and facilities are not worthy of money, they are taking above 5000 for mud house but there is no proper toiletries,towels, and we didn't got the camp fire at night. And there is not many options for vegetarian food and very limited menu for dinner. And even they don't have a proper reception area also. And if need anything outside we have to pay extra for that ride. And their location also very good , but they don't have any landmarks or any other entrance sign for their name n gate. Breakfast was very delicious and good quality. Ambience was great.

Perfect weekend getaway resort in kanthalloor. Started with a short trek in jeep to the resort:..Apt ambience, can really soak in the sunshine with a peck of cool atmosphere of the mountains. One can see a variety of flora, their gardens are filled with a variety of roses.Ample space and seating arrangements to enjoy the scenery and spend quality time with your family, friends, etc. The mud house stay was like a cherry on the cake. Friendly staff and great food. They do provide a lot of different kind of room options, definitely worth it. Do check them out and visit.

We went to anandavana resort last week with our family for Night , we stayed in log house it was amazing, all the staff were friendly. My husband left his reading glass in the room. I informed to the owner Joy immediately he checked and send it through courier. Really wonderful place to stay with family from our mechanical life style .

The premium mud house we booked was just okay. While it seemed they intentionally kept the lighting low to create a specific ambiance, they should have added more lighting in the room for practicality. Additionally, the bathroom was inconveniently located outside the room, requiring us to exit the room to access it. On the positive side, the service provided was excellent. They organized a jeep safari(with additional payment) to some of the popular tourist spots in Marayur and Kanthalloor, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The food served was exceptional and greatly to our liking. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist us whenever needed. Furthermore, the property's location was superb, offering ample outdoor seating and relaxation space. The peaceful ambiance of the place added to the overall appeal, making it a tranquil and enjoyable stay.
