So I spent a day there. They have such amazing staff there. All the people are really humble and have a good attitude. Lunch buffet was pretty good. North Indian and kerala dishes were there and their service was really good. It is a lovely place to spend a day. But the swimming pool bathrooms were in really bad condition. Not hygienic at all. They could add more indoor sports .

Its a nice setting. I had some issues with this place. Its not even a 3 star quality hotel. The water provide in the taps was stinking and some foul taste. Though they provide drinking water separately but we had to make efforts to get it. The taxi union issue means I had to spend huge money for transport. Room service rates were more expensive than five star. Not worth it. We ordered for food from a restaurant close by but had to go every time to the gate to collect it as they would allowed room delivery. Overall not worth spending your money here.

Superbly maintained rooms. A very biiiggg swimming pool. Boating service was arranged by resort at a decent price. Got good offers for spa and restaurant services. Only negative side to the resort is, each room is located besides a man made backwater like pool, which is looking very dirty. Except that the stay was very enjoyable

The bathrooms stink. The water body is so dirty, don't be surprised if you contract a water borne disease. That said the ambience and the place itself is very nice. Worth a visit. Update Well, my stay ended after 3 nights, and I have decided to change my rating from 2 to 4. For good reasons. The staff listened to our complaints, and actually decided to do a 360 degree turn. They improved the menu, cleaned up the canals, bathrooms tidied up, etc. A word about the staff. They were very friendly, very humble and extremely accommodating. Guys like Mithun from activity center and Amal and Ziyab from the restaurant were a real treat. I ended up tipping these guys handsomely. Well deserved.

Very calm and peaceful place. The design of the cottages alongside backwaters is lovely.But the property upkeep needs more attention. The cottages are bit old and not up to the mark like other Club Mahindra properties. More complimentary facilities should be provided in rooms like other hotels of such repute. Restaurant food wasn't much appealing taste wise, though variety is there.

My friends and I had a wonderful time in the serene surroundings. The staff is very friendly and were always ready to help. The chef too prepared idiappams as we expressed a desire to eat them. We were comfortable and felt safe. When we reached the canals seemed dirty, but the very next day, we saw some women cleaning them with nets, wading in water which was up to their waists. Despite the canals all around us, we were not troubled by mosquitoes. we had a great holiday!

Nice place for family. The rooms are placed near the water bodies. the rooms are a bit small. good staff. they even play outdoor games here. A game of cricket or badminton is popular. Good food. It is a popular resort so early bookings help. the cherai beach resort is better but their staff is horrible
