Lakesong Resort

There are several fabulous things about this resort/ hotel. The location and grounds - situated right on the shores of the Lake, there are paths and wonderful gardens to enjoy. The rooms are well appointed, all with a beautiful view. A sunset cruise is available and there are small canoes, bicycles and a gym. The Ayurveda Spa has a range of services available with good opening hours, best of all for me was the customer service - both the reception and the restaurant staff were outstanding. They were open to my requests, professional, responsive, friendly and just fabulous. I wouldn’t hesitate to return here. Thank you.

This resort has a wonderful backwater feel about it, and the canal that runs through it is great for rowing boats inside the hotel. The rooms are comfortable. The cuisine is delicious. The room service is excellent. Additionally, they offer a complimentary one-hour sunset cruise. The hotel's inadequate plumbing system was one of our main problems. For hours, the water in the restrooms was not flowing.The other issue was that the employees were unwelcoming and unfriendly. Not encouraging, somewhat impolite. Otherwise, the view, swimming, and stay are all pleasant.

Resort is very nice, right on the shores of the backwaters with excellent views. The service was excellent and the hotel offers a complimentary boat ride and a whole host of activities to do when there. Rooms are nice and clean but not overly luxurious. Restaurant was reasonable quality for buffet style, but 2 - 3x the price of other local places for about the same style of food.

This time we went again to this resort after 11 yrs, the charm is still the same. The canoe ride inside the lake is awesome. Flora and fauna maintained by them is superb. Food is good and service is awesome.

We had a great time here, it felt very relaxed in beautiful surroundings. The room was great and the complimentary boat ride really nice. We also used the spa,excellent,and the Canoe,for a short paddle round the resort,great fun. You can easily walk into town from the resort.

The place is beautiful. It is a real resort, not some two bit lodge which has added the word to its name. Very well landscaped and maintained. Staff are friendly and polite and service is great. The restaurant is par excellence and a delight for one’s palate (buffet only). They served new items every day for our three day stay, unlike other hotels where some items are repeated the next day. The pool is good, not too big but it’s fine. The kids pool is actually more fun 😀. We went for a boat ride which was OK (not as stellar as other experiences). What was not great was the bathroom in the rooms itself. Water flows out from the bath area to the other part of the washroom and that wasn’t great at all. This was a problem across multiple rooms. The mini hall is spacious to seat 40-50 pax.

Make sure you arrive before 5pm to get to the complementary boat ride. Other free activities are also exciting: swimming pool, canoe ride. Beautiful resort, highly recommend

Excellent resort.. Super helpful staff and food was yummy.... Cosy stay, very close to the nature... Really enjoyed the stay! |The cruise, garden, pool, dining hall were all well maintained & super clean..|Very warm welcome.. And served the food with utmost hospitality
