Tarang Farm House

I would not recommend this resort to anyone. The management is extremely poor, and the overall maintenance is terrible. The shelves, fridge, kitchen, and washroom were not cleaned properly. Despite charging a high amount, the facilities and services were far below expectations. We were informed over the phone that both breakfast and dinner would be provided, but once we arrived, there was no dinner. We had to order food from outside. The breakfast was also brought from outside, not prepared by them. The quantity was very little, and we had to send them again to buy more food. To make matters worse, there was a short circuit issue, which made the stay unsafe. Overall, the experience was completely disappointing-poor management, poor service, and not worth the money.

I was totally disappointed with this farm stay. • The place was not clean. An open electric circuit board was left exposed, which is very risky for kids. • At check-in (2 PM), the previous guests’ food waste was still dumped in a bucket and not cleaned until evening (around 7 PM). • No soaps or handwash were provided. They didn’t use any disinfectants after the previous guests, and there was liquid waste on the floor with a dirty smell. • Exhaust fans in the toilets were not working, making it uncomfortable and unhygienic. • In the kitchen, there was a serious safety hazard – the switchboard was open behind the sink, which is extremely dangerous. • The ground floor was infested with termites, making it very unpleasant and unsafe. • The water supply was not automated. We had to go outside to switch it on manually, which felt very risky at midnight when the tank went empty. • The riverside and pool areas were completely unsafe for children, with open access and no fencing or wall for safety. • The road to the property is extremely narrow, with bushes on both sides. We even had to clear some ourselves to avoid car scratches. • The owner’s behavior was rude when I raised these serious concerns, and there was no manager available to assist us. • For all this, they are charging a huge amount, which is totally unjustified. 👉 The only good part was that the property has a nice view, but unfortunately that alone cannot make up for the poor management, hygiene, and safety issues.

I stayed there with my family, and it was a very disappointing experience. The bathroom was having bad smell issues and was not clean at all. The toilet was also unhygienic, and the overall surroundings were poorly maintained. The owner was quite rude and did not speak properly with us, which made the stay even more uncomfortable., there were no utensils provided for cooking — no knives, spoons, or even basic kitchen items. The kitchen pipe was damaged, and there were no carpets or proper facilities. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a postcard. The resort is nestled between tranquil backwaters and rich mangroves, creating an atmosphere that’s both calming and awe-inspiring. Every corner of the property feels thoughtfully designed to blend into the natural surroundings, without compromising on comfort. Our cottage opened up to a stunning view of the river. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready with a smile. Their passion for the place is contagious it’s clear they’re not just working here, they believe in the beauty of Tarang. If you’re looking for more than just a vacation something that touches your heart and reconnects you with nature Tarang Kadalundi is a must-visit. It’s not just a resort it’s an experience.

Poorly maintained resort! They charge around 35000/- rupees for a day. In terms of location, it is super excellent, but the owner doesn’t care about house keeping and maintenance. The pool is good ! There are dampness on walls. Bathrooms were good. Breakfast was provided, but no plates and cutleries! Luckily we had bought plates! At least they could have provided a kettle and a few plates in the kitchen !

Absolute Scam – Stay Away from This Run-Down Villa This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a vacation rental. We were referred to this so-called "luxury villa" by a mutual friend and dealt directly with the owner – big mistake. The photos we were shown were completely misleading – clearly taken years ago when the property was new. What we walked into was a disgusting, neglected mess. The property is run-down, dirty, and reeks of poor maintenance. Ceilings were leaking, rooms had no AC or hot water, and the entire place had a horrible smell. Calling this a "luxury villa" is not just dishonest – it’s laughable. We paid a premium price expecting a quality stay, and instead got scammed by an arrogant owner who clearly doesn't care about guests or upkeep. What’s worse is that you can’t even trust the photos or reviews anymore – I’m sure this owner just gets friends to flood the listings with fake 5-star ratings to bury honest feedback like this one. This villa is not suitable for families or anyone expecting basic comfort or cleanliness. Maybe it works for low class bachelor parties, but if you're looking for peace, relaxation, or even a clean bed – avoid this place at all costs. If there were an official tourism body to report this to, I would do it in a heartbeat. The lack of regulation in this sector is a real problem, and properties like this are the reason people get burned. Total scam. Stay far away

Honestly, this was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. The property is extremely poorly maintained, feels like the owner have completely given up on taking care of it. Rooms were dirty, there were leakages everywhere, and the smell of dampness just hits you as soon as you enter. No AC remote (what’s the point of having an AC then?), no drinking water provided (basic hospitality), and forget about towels or hot water—none of that was available. To top it off, stray dogs roaming freely around the property made it feel completely unsafe, especially at night. It’s clear the owner is just looking to make a quick buck without putting in the slightest effort to maintain the place or care about guest experience. Absolutely not worth the money, and definitely not recommended for anyone who expects even basic cleanliness and safety. Total disappointment.
