Mount Stratus Resort Vayalada

We stayed in the Valley View Cottage, but unfortunately, it was only about 50-60% as advertised in the brochure. One major disappointment was that the images in their brochure gave the impression that the room was at the edge of the mountain, offering breathtaking views. However, this was misleading and just a false assumption created by the pictures. The road leading to the resort was in poor condition, making the journey unpleasant. While the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, the overall experience did not justify the high price. The food was decent (4/5), and the staff were friendly and helpful (4/5). However, the cottage had its shortcomings: the bathroom was average, and while the bed was very comfortable, the sitting area was just okay. The balcony was nice, but the view didn’t match the impressive images in the brochure (3/5). Thankfully, we brought a Bluetooth speaker and enjoyed the serene mountain ambiance with some music, which helped enhance the experience. Given the price (1.5/5), we expected much more. Additionally, the poor access road (2.5/5) detracted from the trip. Overall, it’s a decent place to relax but not worth the steep cost (Rs.8000 a day).

Positives: -------------------- Outstanding service! Good food. Very nice and clean room. Negatives: ---------------- 1) No place to roam around and click pics. not even a lawn area which is a big big miss when compared to many other resorts I have been to 2) Small Pool 3) Though the resort is on a hill top, the surrounding view was not a spectacular one (atleast for my team)

It was a fantastic stay at Mount Stratus Vayalada. Me and wife both liked the stay, food and ambience very much. The staff was very polite and friendly. The cleanliness of the room, bathroom and the premises is also very good. The trekking experience to Mullanpara in the next day morning was an exciting experience.

My recent stay at the hotel in Mount Stratus was an enjoyable and memorable experience. The ambience was serene, and the surroundings provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The hotel staff were exceptionally cooperative and caring, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and clouds. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy the rain, breeze, and even touch the clouds at high altitude, this is the ideal destination. The only downside to my stay was the ongoing development of the property. While the hotel is already a wonderful place to stay, there is room for improvement as the property continues to develop. Once the development is complete, I believe this hotel has the potential to earn a full five-star rating.

Resort is such a relaxing getaway with stunning mountain views and cozy rooms. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. Loved the food and the peaceful vibe around the place. Definitely it's the best resort in Calicut for family, and worth a visit if you’re looking for a chill break in nature!

We had a wonderful time in this resort. All the staffs are very kind and helpful. Sebin and Jins are the two persons who guided us throughout our stay and these people are just too good. Wake up to majestic mountain vistas and sunsets that will leave you spellbound. Spacious, well-appointed, and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds and modern amenities.Wonderful ambience, tasty food and pleasant stay with lots of good memories to cherish. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the food; every meal was a delightful treat with a variety of delicious options. The service throughout the resort was exemplary, but I want to give special mention to the reception staff. The gentleman at the front desk was incredibly welcoming, efficient, and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and setting a positive tone for the entire stay. Overall, Mount Stratus Resort provided an outstanding experience with its top-notch food and exceptional service.
