NillIt was a truly wonderful experience. The location was peaceful, surrounded by serene views that offered complete relaxation. The owner and staff were incredibly cooperative and made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, adding to the overall charm of the stay. The rooms were beautifully furnished, featuring a cozy bed and a spotless bathroom. The dining area, overlooking a breathtaking view, was an absolute treat for the eyes.

NillPros Great views from the upper floor rooms. Rooms were decent. Comfortable beds & charging sockets on both sides of the bed. Bathroom had a gyeser. Loved their dogs - chikoo, coco & shadow 2500 per night with breakfast - slightly high rates I Recommend normal north indian food like dal, egg curry - they prepare those well. Cons I wanted to have kumaoni food and asked for the host's (deepika) recommendation - she recommended 3 dishes bhat ki churkhani (dal), kumaoni raita & some curry dish with vadi. We gave them a go ahead to prepare these dishes on their recommendation but the food was horrible. This dinner cost us almost 1000 rs, the dal made us sick and we had stomach ache because it was not cooked completely. The curd was supposed to have a mustard like smell & flavour but it did not - it was normal raita with grated cucumber & haldi. The curry with mangodi & vadi had some weird smell it in it, so we didn't eat it. We spoke to a lot of locals around and everyone said that during monsoons we don't eat bhat ki dal & ragi roti because these dishes are best for your body only in winters. They especially make you sick in monsoons as they are difficult to digest. Clearly the hosts should have been able to guide us on this (but did not) In all my experience of travelling from the past 8 years I wouldn't call the experience here entirely that of a homestay. The overall food menu is expensive to be tagged as a homestay. On an average a dal costs around 200/220 rs (quantity being 2 katoris). The hosts left one day prior to us checking out and they did not even bother to inform us. Complete waste of money for the "kumaoni food" in dinner.

NillHad an amazing experience staying at Aashritha Homestay for 2 nights. The hosts are extremely welcoming and hospitable who will instantly make you feel at home. They even gave us a lift in their personal car. The views from the balcony are breathtaking, and on a clear sky day one can catch view of multiple Himalayan peaks. Best part about the homestay : Three insanely adorable and friendly dogs: Chikoo (beagle), Shadow, and Coco. They simply make everything better.

NillWhat made this stay really special were the hosts. Such warm and friendly people — we ended up chatting with them for hours over chai. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The place itself is lovely with gorgeous views, but it’s the people here that make you want to come back

NillI have recently visited this property for the second time as my previous was a short one. This homestay is really good in midst of nature and you can see the mighty Himalayan range from there very clearly. The hosts were friendly and always quick to help when we needed something. And if you love photography then you must visit this place. Will be planning my next visit soon.

NillWe had an amazing stay at Aashrita Heritage Home Stay! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and Mr. Ajay, the owner, made our experience even better with his warm hospitality. He helped us with everything we needed and even dropped us at Kausani Market at 5:30 am—such a kind gesture! The staff was incredibly helpful, and the place felt like home. Plus, they have three adorable dogs—Chikoo, Shadow, and Coco—who made our stay even more special. The sky here is unbelievably clear, perfect for stargazing. You can view some amazing snow capped mountains right from ur window here. If I ever visit Kausani again, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
