Mamalla Inn

I recently stayed at Mamalla Inn in Mahabalipuram and had a disappointing experience. Despite the high price, the quality of the room was poor. The room wasn't cleaned properly, and the bathroom tiles were soiled. The breakfast was particularly underwhelming, resembling the low-quality fare you'd expect from street vendors. Additionally, while online prices appeared reasonable, they charged a much higher rate due to the weekend. Overall, it did not offer good value for the cost. It seems that Mamalla Inn's Google reviews might not reflect the true quality of the experience. Based on my stay, the room was not clean, the bathroom tiles were soiled, and the breakfast was subpar, resembling street food. Despite online reviews suggesting otherwise, my personal experience didn't match the positive feedback. The high weekend rates also didn't justify the poor quality.

I Stayed in Mamalla Inn for couple of days rooms were dirty. Room was full of hair and dust, Mamalla Inn is surrounded by big rats and Lizards. My room was full of lizards and when I opened the door I saw a big rat running in corridor. In Google it is mentioned as 2star hotel. Only thing they did was they charged like 2 star hotel but they didnt provide service like 2 star hotel. There is no security or watchman. So according to me they have to work on cleanliness of this place.

We went out as friends for 1 day and night. Great location and nearby also you have lot of restaurant's. The hotel also charges fair price for it's dishes. They have a roof top swimming pool. And nice play area on the terrace.

The hotel was okay the room service and Restaurant was good but the rooms were terrible. Plastic chairs, unclean and there was no elevator

Room size is very large, spacious. Nice balcony. Top roof swimming pools with a sea view. Morning complementary breakfast is simply superb. Unlimited buffet and tasty. Another beauty is that all the visiting places are nearby and walkable.

One of the best hotels I ever checked in because it is very near to beach and rooms are very big and one of the best hotels I ever checked in because it is very near to beach and rooms are very spacious and services also good but restaurant has to be improve a little bit main part is swimming pool where I have the best time in the hotel.

Hotel is located very near from all the heritage sights of Mamallapuram. Rooms are clean and big. Service is quick. Staff amicable and well behaved. Breakfast is delicious. Beach is at about 10 mins walkable distance. So overall a nice place to stay.
