Sri Harul Guest House

Sri Harul is located at right just on the shore. My first preference when I think about Mahabalipuram is calling Lingesh (Owner of Sri Harul) to book the room. Rooms are very neat, hosts are so friendly and helpful. Pasu's squid tawa, fish curry rice, prawn masala, fish fry will bring you back again and again to this place. To enjoy the fresh sea food along with watching fishing boats, cool surfing, shore temple SriHarul are the best.

Can't beat the view from the balcony. One of the best sea facing rooms in mahabalipuram. Owners are kind and helpful too. One of the best sea front hotels I've ever been too. View from balcony is too good. They also have a really good restaurant with an awesome chef who clearly understood my requirement and made the best meal for my family. In total it was a great experience staying with sriharul hotel.

Was the second time i stayed there, i came again and i can really recommend it. Lingash is a very genuine and friendly host, the rooms are clean and first row to the beach. Slept with window open to hear the waves and you can check the surf directly from the bed.

The best place we have been compare to other with same price. Very nice service thanks to the 3 brothers. Tasty and fresh food. Well done for the fish that they go to fish themselves. It was a great pleasure to meet you and to have this last dinner 2 days ago with all of you and the French people met there. Also, the sea view is amazing from balcony and terrasse at the top. 👏

Stayed here for 5 days during December and had a very very comfortable stay. The host, the owner, the receptionist everybody were very so warm and friendly. Would vouch for safety for solo women since I was one and didn't had to face any kind of trouble. They gave me a quite room which had balcony with beach view. The room was spacious enough with double bed, a table and a chair. The bathroom was clean and maintained well. Since it was a peak season, I felt the price was a little higher but nevertheless affordable. They have their own restaurant too. The food was so so, waiting time was more since they cook everything from scratch only once they get any order. You can try once though. All in all, a very peaceful and conformable stay with beach view and away from the main town hustle.

Great location!!! Just in front of the beach making it a desired Hotel to go. Rooms are reasonably priced, food is quite good as well. Facilities in the hotel are not that great but considering the location and the price I would give this Hotel a 5 star. The beach in front of Harul Guest House is also awesome, neat and Clean and overall a very relaxing experience. Probably that's the reason most of the foreigners prefer to stay here.

We arrived here straight after arriving at Chennai airport. Lovely beach location and most of the rooms have a sea view with a balcony. Very clean hotel with many little touches to make life easy for travelers. Nice restaurant where you could get early morning tea and coffee. For us the best thing about this hotel was the helpfulness of the owner, his help was invaluable in booking taxis and continuing our journey. Very good value , we will certainly be returning as we loved Mamallapuram .

It's an amazing place to stay with beautiful beach view balconies. Non ac rooms. Great during winters and rainy seasons. For me personally it's a no no for summer because chennai is really hot. Nice decent rooms, good vibe, clean bathrooms, staff hospitality is good too, nominal price compared to other place in the area. Perfect for a getaway with ur loved ones.
