Hangout Beach Stay

Rooms are pathetic , all of the reviews are fake, they are mostly written by their friends. Please avoid this resort or go for a good one. At the time of booking rates were spiked up and the bathroom is not good. Very bad smell from the beds.

The bathroom was terrible, it needs a good scrubbing down with Clorox. When you press the jet button, water sprays out the side into your face! Same with the wall taps. We turned on hot water button, but no hot water. This room was 2000 (25 euros) a night. It is slightly better than a 600 rupees room on Ellis Road in Chennai. If *this* room is highly rated in this town, I dread to imagine what horrors lie in other hotels of Mahabalipuram lol. The staff themselves seemed a bit unhappy with our presence, no greetings any time of the day, sour faced / or don't look when we come in. We stayed two nights and just presume they were shy or whatever. Any way, it's not normal hotel staff behaviour. Building is right next to beach, but location is a few minutes walk from anything else in the beach area like shops, restaurants. We liked that it was quiet in this area. I didn't have time to take pics. But after this review if you still want to experience it, go ahead lol

We had booked for 3 AC rooms for a family of 8ppl a week before we visited, we had paid the advance for 3 AC rooms but the owner gave us only 2 AC rooms at the last moment. He asked us to stay in a Non AC room next to his hotel which was horrible.This is a extremely honest review. Definitely not suited for family. We were left high and dry when we were given only 2rooms.Pathetic Suitation. Please be cognizant before you book this hotel. Owner is very rude👿.

Can't complain much, the room rate was spiked at the time of pay. 1200 inr to 1500 inr (reason is the view) dogs bark at night for no reason, morning they forgot the water motor so no water in the morning. Service was excellent, good food. View is great. Very secluded spot, good for privacy ( depends on the room u get) Overall good experience due to extreme privacy. No questions asked on any metric. Staffs are friendly and accomodatable.

Excellent resort and very very very nearby to beach just 30meters to beach spot and car parking available here ...if you can stay in morning you can see sun 🌞 Rise at 5:30 to 5:45pm depends upon seasons ....but very nice rooms with kitchen equipment if you want to cook you can. really enjoyed this place at mahabalipuram (MamillaPuram)..

Very good place to stay and much cheaper. The service is great and unexpectedly you fell this place js better than some star hotels. It's just 20m from beach and great place to stay even for families. Dont miss the seafood with nearby restaurants.

Good place to have a quick hang out, right next to beach. Washrooms didn’t have exhaust fans, AC was cooling well, hot water available, hotel contact Ganeshan called and checked which was very good..

rooms are awesome i loved it ..the atomsphere which i was there is so peaceful .the beach 30meters near my room❤️. awesome feel when i was there . thanks a lot hangout frds
