Hotel Joy - Hotel in Balongi

One of the worst bad experience. My brother booked one room yesterday and asked them cold water bottle. Instead of providing bottle they asked to go outside and bring your own bottle. It was late night around 11.30 PM and it was raining outside . When my brother goes outside , they were asking for room key and saying that we have camera installed and threatening that if key lost you have to pay 1500 fine. Why we should give them key as they have charged whole amount of room in advance . Staff is totally I'll mannered . If a person can afford your room he can also pay fine if key is lost. Where is privacy if we have to give them key when we have to go outside ??

Average hotel with below average services and amenities. Room - blankets were not changed and we had to get it changed post complain and staff who attended this complaint was rude. Staff : Not professional like other hotel staffs. Service: Basic amenities were missing. For Eg. No hot water kettle, iron , dental kit was provided after request. Service time was too much for any requests. Food: Food was okay ! Average hotel !

Being an area manager of company I have been in Mohali for 2-3 days for inspection. As I was new to this Mohali area. I didn't have any knowledge about here's hotel. Then after seeing photos on trip advisor I chose to stay in Hotel The Joy Residency. I liked everything in there from warm welcoming to staff and amenities that I was given to use. Food was awesome. I enjoyed every bite. If i got a chance to inspect again. I would love to stay in this hotel only

We Went on the Spot, when no hotel was available and that too early in the morning. The Hotel Staff and their Service is applauded and appreciable. I liked the rooms and the food too, which was just as you are eating in your home. One more thing to add to the comfort is, I had a Cervical pain my neck from last 1.5 months, which wasn’t going after lot of efforts but the bed I slept on in Joy Hotel, it’s mattress did wonders in one night and I was so relaxed that my pain was gone and I even asked the staff, what brand were the mattresses, and to my surprise the hotel owner offered me to take them along as they were made on order. I really appreciate the experience Joy Hotel gave me. Thanks to the wonderful Staff and their Service.

The receptionist is not informed with tarrif plan early check-in inspite having bookings made well in advance and informed them timely. Staff having no courtesy to speak politely in front of kids/female. I booked all meals complementary plan but receptionist is explaining that either lunch or dinner would be complementary. He was in hurry for charging extra money for which I had already no objection. Room was untidy, they have not arranged the room for early check-in but ready to charge for the same.|Total non-cooperation, non co-ordination and non courteous behaviour shown as a result I had to cancel the booking and immediately shifted to another hotel. Please be careful as you may also face the same apathetic behaviour and by the way donot trust photos shown and facilities written fully.

It's been almost 2 months when me with my colleagues where on the back to home from Manali trip. So we chose this hotel to stay to rest. Our experience with this hotel been great. All of us enjoyed the food and like our stay there. Reception staff was so polite and helpful especially. Mr. Joshi he made sure we getting proper services while stay

I had booked a room for me and family through trip advisor. We were given a family suit at a good price. The breakfast was complimentary. We enjoyed our stay. And I would have to say that their stay, food and location is amazing. Will visit back soon
