Hotel Surya

I stayed in Hotel Surya as a corporate guest for a night in April-2015. The hotel is located close to old city, railway station and market area. I found hotel to be old and in need of proper maintenance. Rooms were dusty and not well cleaned. Room decor was below par although I suppose we should not expect much from a budget hotel. Room amenities also left a lot of room for improvement. The hotel staff was cordial and helpful. Food quality was average. To sum it up, stay in the hotel was a below satisfactory experience.

3 star for the "wonderful hospitality" and the amicable reception. The manager and the staff are so very helpful that it prompted me to give 3 star. But the condition of the room and bathroom was not up to the mark and needs urgent renovation. But I again would like to thank the manager and the staff for being great host.

Stayed here for 3 nights through Oyo rooms. The hotel is situated in a by lane from the main road. Walking distance from the railway station. The room was small and comfortable for a single occupant. The bathroom though was extremely worn down with a feeling of using it in a dharamshala. |The rooms of this hotel during the day are used by couples for their leisure activities. Hence it is not recommended for families. |The positive was the staff which was extremely attentive and prompt for any request.

Rooms are ok. Management is good. Don't charge for early check-in's which is the most good thing about the hotel. Food is not good. Rates are average but very normal food. Cook should improve food quality and taste.

Rooms are not spacious. WiFi was not working. Hotel too is situated in a very narrow lane that is always busy which makes it inconvenient for people carrying heavy luggage. Stairs are too steep and there is no lift. Room service was good and prompt.

Hotel Surya is very good interns of first budget and service. Some rooms are small and some big. If you get a big one then it's very good. Staff is very much cooperative. Hotel location is very near to Ludhiana Station just walkable. For Solo, Personal, small stay best recommended.
