Hotel Salvia

I want to share a very concerning and disappointing experience at Hotel Salvia, Bathinda, so that others are aware before making a booking here. We had booked 3 rooms to host and meet our guests. After the meeting, when we went downstairs to see them off, something shocking happened: the hotel cleaning staff opened all our rooms without our permission while all our belongings were still inside—purses, jewellery, important documents, bags, and even cash. We had locked the rooms securely with our key cards, yet they used a master card to enter in our absence. Not only did they enter without consent, but they also threw away our food into the dustbin. When we questioned the staff, their careless response was, “We had orders to clean.” Upon approaching the manager, his justification was equally unprofessional: “I just said, they might have left, so check the rooms.” This clearly shows a complete lack of responsibility and respect for guest privacy and security. This is not a small issue—it’s a serious breach of trust, safety, and security. Imagine if even a small valuable had gone missing, who would have been held accountable? Guests should never have to worry about unauthorized access to their rooms or their belongings being touched or discarded. Such negligence and mismanagement are unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that claims to serve guests with hospitality. I strongly caution anyone considering this hotel: think twice before booking, because the safety of your belongings and your peace of mind may be at risk here.

Genuine review: Don't go by the fake reviews online. The hotel property has loud music throughout the day. The staff including the manager is not helpful with regard to any issue and will not change your room on the top of this. Beware, initially they will tell you the party music would be over "within 15 min" on lodging a complaint multiple times till the unhelpful manager says that "last DJ time is till 6pm", only to have the DJ run beyond this and they will say that "DJ can't be stopped as there's a party ongoing". Think MULTIPLE TIMES before booking this property ONLINE any day.
